Same here. I like to stay in as long as possible solely for the enthusiasm. Luckily, I also drew a Div V bot. Those are always the best. :-)

The first year I played this game, I gave too many minutes to my starters and they wore down over the season (Game Shape went way way down). So the question is what priority should a cup game have over a regular season game, given that you cannot play your best players every game.... The extra revenue is helpful, as well as the experience. I am still trying to understand when to play my best players vs rest them. What do you guys think?

The key is to not have such a big gap in skill between your starters and your bench players. When you can feel confident about playing your benchies...your golden.

However, if you have a game that you are like to win or likely to lose, just play the bench players if your not as confident in them.

I've always felt that the league games are most important, as they have the greatest effect on attendence and other sources of revenue (i.e. mechandise, TV Money, etc.) . Getting minutes for my trainees is also really important, as doing so will help me in the league.

As for the Cup this week, it looks as though I've somehow managed to draw another Div. V bot...Let's hope this keeps up for a while.
