What I kinda realized is that you must put in big stats. Like if your player has 13-15 points and 14-16 rebounds for 5 successive games, the guy who had like 60 points in 1 game then 5 or less points in the following 4 would be picked over him. It's not so much about consistency, it's more of the wow factor.

Of course, I don't have much data to support it, and neither have I collected data, so it could just be biased info. But it's just something I noticed.

Were you expecting him in C or PF?

I feel there's something in played position, only league stats relative to position, conference ranking and maybe experience

I can notice that the note per game could be an explanation

This year is the perfect example for me, i do not understand why my forward is not even mention in the top 4 vote whereas he has a solid double-double (14,5pts - 15,7 rbs ), he is the best rebounder in the league and my team is second in my conference.

How about the player jersey sales?

There are 2 starters and 2 backups (no NT, U21) in my team. The following is the player jersey sales (proportion to salary).
Starters
9290(15%), 7898(16%)
Backups
8995(10%), 2804(8%)
4th place in the vote
2338(5%)
Not mentioned in the top 4 vote
1944(5%)

Not sure if you're aware but... Higher jersey sales come from better performance, and players with better performance get more votes for all star. Both are a result of better performance by players. They don't necessarily have to influence each other.

Is there a confirmation for this? I know both my All-Star players gained an extra $3k in jersey sales last season, but both of them were starters. Do All-Star subs gain less? Also, I've got a third player who didn't get any All-Star bonus and he came in third. So it definitely isn't true for 3rd place and below.

I can confirm less for subs
3rd not sure, it could be an artefact
perhaps based on league level, or previous sales level (roughly 2000-2500$ 1st, 1250$ 2nd, 500-750$ 3rd iirc)

That's cool, I thought it was a base 3k for both subs and starters. It makes sense to have different amounts for different divs too, but I guess we need more info on that. For third you get nothing. Justin confirmed it himself when he pulled out the numbers of my players. He did not explicitly say it, but since my player who was 3rd in voting had $0 all star bonus in Jersey sales, it already implies that.

Sure? I never experienced a significat higher merch-income. Always thought it's just a fun-event.
Jersey-sales are visible just since last season...

If you are right, how long is the effect? Just the All-Star-Week? Whole season?

Best regards,
Ted
