Great draft class indeed! Looking forward to how they are developed. I tried buying some of the high potential players, but my Utopia team is still too poor xD

The roster of the U21 is not bad once again, but I don't see us advancing to the next round with Spain, Russia, Estonia, and Serbia in our group.

-17 in the 4th quarter, losing in overtime… Not the way we wanted to start the campaign.

The NT team played two opening matches against opponents of our level.
Cyprus 91 - 108 Scotland
The opening match was played at home, and it turned out to be successful.
The first and third quarters turned out to be even, we won the second and fourth.
Despite the fact that Boyd had only form 6 and played the match from the bench, he played very usefully, got +22 in just 15 minutes.
The attack and defense worked steadily and well, and won the rebound.
Scotland 113 - 124 New Zealand
A completely unsuccessful match. The New Zealand coach took a chance and was able to guess our tactics well
I thought for a long time about putting a higher attitude, but we were a little better at DMI, I thought that would be enough for us.
Boyd, although he spent 72 minutes last week, could not improve his form, which is also bad luck, so he stayed on the bench again, but he could not play as useful as the last match.
The Skene is also in the form of 6, so the composition was quite light, and the opponent took advantage of it 100%.
It's a shame, we missed the only chance to get into the playoffs - to win the first three victories, next the opponents will be stronger.
Although anything is possible, miracles do happen.
The next matches are with Albania and the Philippines.

Albania 85 - 101 Scotland
The opponent decided to go all-in, apparently he thought that with us the chance of winning was higher than with the next opponents. It's good that our roster had enough power to cope with this pressure without any problems. The starting line-up played a brilliant match, beat a cut above. The bench played worse, but we could afford it.
Scotland 75 - 93 Philippines.
The team came to the game in good shape, almost all the leaders were in the form of 9. We started the match well, we could have fought for victory with a high mood, but when playing away there were not many chances for this.
The score is 2-2 so far. There are matches with Denmark and Greece ahead.

Denmark 83-100 Scotland
It was a great match from us, we beat a fairly strong team. The game was equal until the 4th quarter, but there our team took advantage of several points, which was increased at the very end of the match. It is necessary to highlight our bench, which made the difference, the start was not so convincing. I will also highlight Lennie personally, after the injury MacPhee had to play a lot of minutes, he coped with it perfectly.
Scotland 88-122 Greece
Despite the 33rd rank, Greece is a big team. Besides, we played away. There was no chance of winning. I tried to play a slow tactic to reduce the final difference in points. Not to say that we played poorly, even won the third quarter. But the difference -34 is still noticeable.
The final matches are ahead, Mexico and Ireland. We play Mexico at home and Ireland away.
