Well yes, the same reason you now have to fire him is why no-one wanted to buy him in the first place. Although they often sell for a bit more than that, depending on luck.

Yeah, I know that his salary is through the roof and all that jazz, but the main reason I have to fire him is beacuse he (with 99% certanity) does not fit into my team. I have a lot of money, because I just sold my starting SF and I started looking for a replacement, but had I sold my starting PF instead of SF, the guy would've been a perfect fit on C in my team. Also, at the same time, the same team who sold the 68K guy for 3000 have sold a 33 year old, 40K salary guard for 122 700 (48290754).

It's not a big man thing. I sold 2 NT guards for a few thousand as well.

There's no reason to buy expensive players at this point of time - those who want to compete in R2 of B3 have already bought their players, the cup final has ended for most BB countries (so probably more people selling too). It's still too early to buy for the playoffs. That's why they're so cheap.
