pretty much the only people who train shot blocking are trainers who focus on the front court. it's not definitive if the benefits of having a good SB skill is useful. the main argument for it is that it helps train the other inside skills faster. going off of what i have my inside players do not foul too much and i train SB, but i think the stamina skill is most indicative of whether or not a player will foul.

Do most of the teams play motion or run & gun in your league?

For that matter, it is much more probable that teams play look inside.

Why? If they play motion the guards will take most of the shots, so the defending guards will have the most block oppertunities right?

Yes, but you don't really get many shot blocks on medium/high-range jump shots. Rather, most blocked shots seem to come on drives to the basket (which use inside shot), and guards to that mostly when you play look inside/low post.

My theory of why guards get that many blocked shots as opposed to big men is that IS is generally poor on perimeter players (since you can't train it as well as you can on a C), and a guard 'born' with average-respectable shot blocking can really score a bunch of blocks.

Stamina? Really? The player on my team that has by far the most fouls per minute played is a PG also has the highest stamina rating (strong), higher than anyone else on my team. Ramon McGregor thus far this season is averaging 3.7 fouls per game while averaging 17.3 minutes per game, for a whopping .214 fouls per minute. The next closest fouls per minute average on my team is another PG at .115 fouls per minute (respectable stamina). Only one other player has an average over .1 fouls per minute (.102), a center (average stamina). Even the previous season, McGregor finished with a .165 fouls per minute average. Oh, and lest anyone think his game shape is low, it's currently at strong, which is only bested on my team by one player at respectable.

Are my players anomalies, and is there statistical data that backs up the notion that personal fouls correlates with personal fouls?

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
