exactly. These two issues oppose each other and you have to find your desired balance, I suppose.

It seems like the fan reactions are too harsh. I played a TV game against my rival and lost my two (back and forth all 4th quarter, missed a last second shot). Fan reaction against my rival was 1.5 stars, and last TV game and last league game was only 1 star. First, why the difference (same game!) and why such a bad reaction? I always thought if you played a nail-biter and lost a TV game, you'd wouldn't be killed by fan reaction. But that's exactly what happened.

Your best bet is stop transfer in the meantime. Mine is L5 and I haven't sold anyone for, like, ages... But I still don't know how to increase the part where they think I'm not ptting much effort in improving the team. Buy more players eh?


I'm guessing "The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team" is probably a measure of put in place so people don't just stockpile cash -- I'm not sure its link specifically to buying and selling players.

If a team has a lot of cash and isn't improving the team in some manner, i bet this drops. How much cash, I don't really know.

So is the overall result of the fan survey, just an average of the top 8 parameter (or fewer if you have some N/A's)? Or are some values more important (weighted more) than others?

I have a some of 24 balls and 2 N/A's. So 24 / 6 = 4, which is my overall score.

I have 29 balls and just 1 N/A. 29/7 = 4,1 but my overall score is 3,5.

The only thing i got less then 4 balls in is: "The team had a good run in the cup this year" where i have 3 balls after winning my 1st cupgame.

I am pleased with the team's performance last season 4
I am pleased with the team's performance this season 4.5
The team had a good run in the cup this year 2.5
The team played well in our last league game 5
The team played well the last time they were on TV N/A
The team played well in our last game against In your face, our hated rival N/A
I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred 3.5
The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team 4.5

All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in 4

That's what I've got...plus a level 9 PR guy.

The formula for the familiar with star players def needs a tweak by the reads of things..

Everyone makes transfers but i would imagine in the majority of cases most teams spine stays intact and only when a really good offer or replacement comes in do people part with their supposed 'stars'.

I think this should be reflected by maybe salaries / average performance so if you sell on a player consistently averaging 10.5+ you will feel the wrath of the fans but if you sell a fringe player then I dont feel that the fans would ultimately be over critical of this.

Then as you say as long as the money goes back into purchasing somebody new then the everything to improve the team should be high as well.

I dont understand why both cant be high?

My guess would be that "The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team" is measured by the level of activity of the manager.
Things like total time online might be helpful, but the real improvement depends on actions - changing your squad between matches, enlarging your arena, buying new players, etc.

If this is true - it has nothing to do with actually improving the team, or how much money you have. The main thing would be your effort to improve the team, as reflected by activity.

Thus, buying and selling (since for buying you usually have to sell as well) will improve your grade here while damaging your grade in the the section:
"I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred"

I have just learned that the fans react not only to selling but already to listing. I listed my 11,5* NT Center and the rating went down to 1 Star/Ball (from sth. like 3 or 4).
