A few thoughts....

I think you've been a bit unlucky in those games. You've noticed it yourself: there's not a lot between your team and your opponents in terms of ratings, and your ratings on the whole are not bad at all.

But stamina is very important. As far as I am aware, players with inept or better stamina are capable of playing all 48 minutes without dying due to exhaustion, so players with less than that will find themselves struggling for fitness late on in close games if they are starters, and then your team risks falling apart in the 4th. So throw in a few weeks stamina training: your team will thank you for it.

Other than that, here are some things to consider:

- Select for defence skill. Buzzerbeater's match engine does love good defenders, in my experience, and if you aren't training your trainees heavily in defensive skills, that's something immediately that will help you. In the meantime, look over the matchup ratings for each position: does one player leak lots of points (100+ points per hundred shots for his position) on a regular basis? If so, think about putting a better defender in as starter in his position.
- Select for skill relevance. In the rules, under Denominations (in English) is a list of the skills the ME prioritises for each sector. Do your preferred starters possess the skills the ME is looking for? Can your point guard shoot? Can your SF defend both outside and inside? Is your centre your best inside player? Does your PF have any outside defence? Do all your starters have some passing and handling? If not, time to think about visiting the transfer market.
- Tactics! Running a neutral scheme can be effective, but since you appear to have some balance between inside and outside offense, you can pick on the weakest point of your opponent's defence at will. As Sun Tzu said in Art of War, "Know your enemy!"

Thanks for your comment. I will remember your words and take some actions right away.

Still, I want to have also others' opinions, suggestions, thoughts on next points:
- Which you consider more important for winning games: player match-ups or raitings?
- How important is enthusiasm and what effect the higher number gives?
- And once again: How important is stamina?
- Does higher stamina also rise salary?

1. Ratings.
2. Enthusiasm is quite important and it is hard to judge its effect, but it is quite big.
3. Stamina is important in the sense a player should have it more than awful. But like every other skill, the higher, the better.
4. Yes.

This weekend I beat my rival team who was also topping the table at that time.
Basically I didn't do anything different but got pretty good raitings for my team. I wonder if "motion" is suitable tactics' choice for players I currently have. Of course, this opponent didn't have much of a perimeter D and greatly thanks to it my shooting % stayed quite okey. GS is very important for players and it's a great advantage if you can manage to spread right amount of playing minutes for your star players. Hopefully I'm now more into winning ways and can make a decent season.

Thanks for comments, Th Phil & Asasasa.

if you got an good outside attack, motion looks pretty good but i like fast tactics a bit more so i would go for run and gun.

I understand, fast tactics mean more shots and they tend to be not so prepared or well out played. And if I don't have good rebounding skill compared to my opponent it seems I will suffer more harm then shooting quickly and getting not much offensive rebounds.
Last season I played quite often RnG and was pretty successful. This season most of my opponents have have better inside players and I haven't used it so much since I'm afraid I will shoot with low % and won't get needed rebounds to get enough shots for win. Maybe my thinking is too wrong. Or what you recon?

my experienced with slow tactics, is that you often get problems with the clock so that you have to take difficult shoots at the end of the clocks, with leed to more missed shoot when you take a bit more difficult shot in time with a faster tactic.

If you have an outstanding offense or game flow, you would get those shots in time then slow tactics would be better but in most cases faster tactics are the better choice in BB.
