Yes, if a skill is significantly lower than its sister skills, then it should improve faster. I dont know about a pop a week though.

I have marginal experience, so take it with a grain of salt.

I've been approaching the same way. Last week got several pops on rebounding Switched to shot blocking this week since the group I'm training is collectively weak on that. No pops.

So don't expect miracles.

I don't think it will train faster...however those other skills (the over trained ones) will train slower.

the training is accelerated, i work as scout and since this season as manager of an U21 and i like Center/powerforwards with blocking, but a lot manager don't like to train it.

Many players get pops nearly every weeks when they start to train it, some of then also with 2 position training.
