To answer your question(s), you begin your first season with a brand new team—and 18 players—that simply takes over the former team's record. That is the ONLY thing that carries over. You start with a 5000-seat stadium, a certain amount of money (and I believe a subsidy for the next four weeks), a given staff (low-level) and your roster of new players of various ages, potentials and skills. To answer your second question, trades are not allowed between teams but players may be bought or sold by auction bidding through the TL—Transfer List. You also obtain 3 new draftees at the end of every season. What might help you the most right now, besides reading the "Help" and "Forums" sections, is to read as much as you can from the "Rules" page...Pappy
