i think that the BB sould add to the game an option to take time-outs by yourself.
like the subs we could chose to take be our self time-out or let the coach do that.
in todays game i was behind 10 pts and the coach didnt take a time out and it was for a long time.
so what you say?

Not going to happen for two reasons:

First, the game is getting simulated in the 15 minutes before the match. What you're watching is a delayed representation.

Second, the whole idea is that you won't have to sit in front of the computer while the game is getting simulated, and this will not put you at a disadvantage.

So the AI coach is the same for everyone. He's not the brightest bulb in the bunch, tough luck.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

you can add an option.
as the same we can choose subs or tactic,
we will choose if the coach will take time outs or us.
But, your sayin the the game its like playback..
Then you can add an option to tell the coach to take a time out while we behind 10 points or 15..something like that

and what should he say, "the opponent team has a ten point lead", every attack after getting 10 points behind(it could be a sitution, where you are always betwenn -8 and -10) ... The decission if timeout or not is pretty complex, and depends more on rows like X attacks without baskets, X defense without a Stop etc. and just a little bit with the point differential(which decrements or increase the X, like the number of TO left)

That is not logical!!! Now if the other team makes a 10 : 0 timeout would be logical. Or 16 : 4 run or whatever. Just taking all the timeouts in a row when you are down by 10-15 points? Think about what you write beforehand...
Now momentum can switch in a game with 6 : 0 run or with a great defencive stop followed by a good fastbreak or a thunderous slam that gets the growd into it. Writing it into the code is the hardest part. Sometimes I would take the timeout faster viewing the game so called "Live" but mostly the timeouts are taken on the right times. What annoys me are the timeouts taken in the last minute when there is no chance of coming back into the game.

and that that the coach doesn't takes timeout when you are in lead, or the opponent makes significant more points the last minutes maybe a 2-12 run or so(just because you score one basket betwenn it) ...

For example a game from sunday from one of my buddies:

/BBWeb/reportmatch.aspx?matchid=8561321&realTim... - no tiemout from Cm Punker in a match which goes to overtime in the regular Playtime.

/BBWeb/reportmatch.aspx?matchid=8561321&realTim... - no timeout for the last attack, with 13 s on clock and a draw from Plan, and just one used timeout from CM.

i have problems to switch in the second overtime, but Cm just used one timeout there and looses the game with one Point, thats some kind of stupid.
