I do agree with assumption 1

Assumption 2 do depend too much on his other str/weak and your teams str/weak.

Assumption 3, i still think matching str/weak is the most importent, so a zone could still be your best choise...

1.- Offensive flow depend on PG and SG, perhaps his SF, PF and C has no pass and handling and you can use Full Court Press to steals. Use your player who has more def ext and rebound.

2.- It depend of your rebounds, if you get more ofensive rebound, you ´ll have more attacks.

3.- If you are not sure where he attack use man to man, or to improve your rebouns 2-3 zone.

I don't know if you mean that it depends on PG and SG only, but I just wanted to clarify this.

From the rules;

Offensive Flow (how well the offense produces assists, avoids turnovers): point guard weighted very heavily, shooting guard weighted medium, small forward weighted medium.

Mainly in PG and SG, but if your rival has a center atrocius in handling don´t contribute to offensive flow and full court press could be a good tactic.
