You should look for players that are lets say from mediocre (5) to respectable (7) in Guard skills (top 6 with emphasis on Outside defense and Passing, which are very important for a PG and are not so easy to train.. these players are affordable for a new team.. you should also be careful about your new player´s Potential, star(5) - perennial allstar(7) is adequate I think. Another important thing is height, as long as you are training Guards, you should look for shorter ones like 180-190 cm (5'9" - 6'3").. thats the start, for other help see help forums old threads and read rules carefully. Thanks. I think I found a few good trainee's but I was wondering should I upgrade my level 1 trainer to a level 4 trainer as i read that i makes quite a difference in he speed of the training.

it reallly makes difference, I recommend you to buy lvl 4 trainer or better (it depends on you actual financial situation)
