I think the same thing happened to me. Any ideas what's going on?

are you sure about this? the last guy seemed to have gotten his money? did it just take a little bit to show up?

I'm pretty sure. On Monday I sold my player, got $72000 for him. (he was my player from the beginning of the game). Despite that, my economy site has smth like this:

Weekly Temporary Income:
$50084

Does "Weekly Temporary Income" include money from transfers? If it does, I think I should have got more money. If it doesn't, I don't know where my money is since my only income this week is the one mentioned above ($50084)

did you have any expenses? such as firing a coach etc? did you have any other sources of income?

That's it. I've changed my coach. Therefore, I assume that the severance payment for the old coach was taken away from the Weekly Temporary Income, instead of being added to costs. Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

we are planning in the not too distant future to redesign our economy database structure to make all these things a lot more clear to the user. glad to help clear it up.

and it seems to me that I have not received any money from Jorge Balmaceda Weekly Temporary Income: $4000

The economic update would have happened after the Balmaceda transfer, so you won't see that one there. The date of the economic update is plainly shown on your Economy page.
