For the single-match eliminations, the team with the higher standing is given the home-court advantage. When there is a best-of-three series, the team with the higher standing has the home-court for the first match and for the tie-breaker (if a third game is necessary), and the lower-ranked team has the home-court for the second match.


- they even don't have to change the rules for it ;)

I think you could do it both ways, but i would prefer your one or at least a right passage in the rules about it.

Isn't the current system pretty much how it works in American pro basketball? That's why last year in the NBA, most of the Eastern Conference playoff teams wouldn't have made the playoffs in the Western Conference. I agree that teams in harder conferences have it worse, but that's life...

Not exactly. When we get to the only interconference match-up in the playoffs, which is the finals, record is the determiner for HCA.

Thought I would throw that in before this post gets /Juiced for being in the help not suggestion forum :)
