Uusally, 23-26 year olds are not worth training any more, unless their skills are already very high, and they have high potential.

Go for 18-20 year olds.

I don't agree with this. I have players that are over the 18-22 range and I have done pretty well training them--and they do not necessarily have awesome potential either.

Ive got 6 pop ups on 25 y/o player with star potential. Still aint worth it to train that age, and my trainer was lvl 4

So it seems that level 4 trainers are able to do a good job.
Do you think that is worth changing a level 5 trainer for a level 4 one?

Well the higher the better, but i am not sure that lvl 5 trainer deserve his money. (bit/sallary), so if you ask me will go with lvl 4

Based on what?

With respect if you dont have any clue about the answer please dont post. Your answer is very misleading to new BB managers.

EDIT - Just saw your latest post... (hopefully not too late for the guy who said 'thanks mate!')

I would argue that you would be better advised to look for younger trainees but if your budget is more restricted then you can easily get more than 2 pops out of a 23yo.....

It is possible to get more than 2 pops on a 23yo that has or is mighty close to his soft cap.

I guess you can look at it in a monetary way.

2 players - 20yo with 4-5 less skills may cost you the same as a 23yo with those extra skill ups. But maybe after 1.5 seasons they look the same. If you need better performance immediately then it might be more suitable to go for the slightly older player.
