Well I am on day 8 of an 8 day expansion and yes you've guessed it I have 5 days to go!!! All for 682 bleachers. I sincerely feel for those that are constantly let down by their respective contractors.

In 6 seasons this is for me the most disappointing feature- 99% of the time any quote is simply not worth even getting your hopes up over as it is almost certain to disappoint you.

It even says as much in the Rules.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Finally, beware relying too much on construction estimates. Estimates are not exactly how many days it will take to construct your stadium, and on average, construction estimates tend to be rather optimistic. If you really, desperately need your expansion ready in 10 days, you should probably not trust a 10 day estimate from the construction crew.

Thats got to be new? (newish!)

Could condense it to.

Always remember to multiply your estimate by 3 so that you can be happy when your constructors complete your chosen work in just over twice the time you were quoted.

OR.

Please take the estimated completion time as seriously as you do DMI.

I think the above must be easiest to translate!

Even if this is not a bug, it is one of the least fun aspects of the game.

I will say that I'm not completely a fan of the system as currently constituted.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

for me this is the one part of the game that totally drains the fun and energy that i have.

imagine 200 to 250 seats constitutes to almost 10 days that is really frustrating if you look at it.

Yeah that's right. Every day over the deadline the contractor have to pay a certain amount of money. It is a way to limit the contractors bids on price/building time estimate. It would make a nice addition to speculate in slow contractors. Maybe one could even earn money by expanding the stadium

How about you have three options on the contractor:

1) Base - estimate +/- 25% time= base cost
2) Unreliable - +5/-50% = -10% base cost
3) Speedy - +25/-10 time = +25% base cost

You pay extra or save extra for either a faster build or slower one...
