Inside Scoring is very important for SG's. My SG has Proficent IS and only mediocre Driving and he gets like 4 dunks a game..(4547668) He does have Prolific JS but more times than not, he dunks it. The reason why I think IS is so important for SG's is that most managers don't think ID is important. That is my 2 cents worth...peace

It is all relative. You don't need your SG to have great ID if your team rating for ID is already high.

Then, watch carefuly your M2M defense. You never know when your rival's SG might have IS.

That probably more depends on your offensive tactic than anything else I guess. Did you play with inside/neutral focus often?

That's realtive. If so than you are limited to only some defesnive tactics to some extent.

Man to man - with guard with lack of ID. I mean you can play it but you risk that opponent guards will easily score from penetration to the basket. How much of risk it is depends on level of competition.

This opinion is more an opinion of czech think thank than me, I have no problem to play a zone. It should be actaully more crucial for PG than for SG.

He dunks the ball in Motion,Look Inside, Run and Gun, It doesn't matter..If the other teams SG has awful ID than my SG tries to dunk on him( The GI will try and exploit the other team weakness)..To be honest..I only buy guards with at least average IS and ID...peace

You're not exactly facing world beaters though, are you? How does your SG do when the other team puts up a strong inside d team rating (or better)? Just curious.

Probably his SG makes points when others players (who are not the ones used to show you the strong defense rating) are guarding him. The sentence above stated probably is not going to work against a 2-3 but in that case even his centers will be facing the same issue, so there is not a special problem of the guard.

Were you talking trash about the Japanese league or were you taking a shot at me directly? I couldn't tell. My SG plays well against all defenses..Prolific JS and a proficent IS..If a teams goes 2-3 he shoots 3's if they play a 3-2 he goes inside..I trained him to be a balanced player. He does pretty well. I was just giving my 2 cents to the thread question. Now for you(season 2 team) to try and talk trash to a season 7 team is pretty funny. I will just laugh it off..

I will put my SG to the test next Thursday in the Cup final 8 round. I will be playing a team ranked 370 in the world. If my SG balls, then you have your answer.
