I would've make them (the millions) but I spent a fortune on Arena and staff and I didn't want to go in a higher division. Next season I expect my income to be around 200k a week (average) with total of 2,8M earnings for that season. Still my "excel file" says I will need 3.165.000 for my desired arena. I projected the upgrade process to end in 3 seasons (each season I will spend a little over 1M). Starting with Season 16 I will have a team with finished infrastructure, with 4M in my bank, aiming for great results :) And yes, to get back to the topic, level 7 trainer still doesn't seems like a good deal to me. And giving a lot of thinking I think you are right: unless you are training player for NT (and especially SF NT) you don't need level 7 trainer.

I can see where have differed in opinion. Sounds like you were talking about top of the line best in the world NT SF. Whereas i was looking slightly lower. In which case the same argument could be made that you need a level 7 trainer to make a best in the world type PG or C. In your example i would still class player 1 as a very good player. Thanks for the healthy debate though.

I think the money you could save by having a level 4 trainer could be uesd to buy players for your team that would be better than having 4 extra pop ups, or simply to expand your arena a lot.

Thanks thats useful information to know. It looks like over 6 seasons it would make a bit of a difference. So players you train will be better but whether it is actually better for your team performance is another matter. As suggested the money u save from having a lower trainer could be spent on your arena or other players.

I ended up purachasing an exceptional trainer, even though I'm only in DV and dont have trainees with the best potential.

I had enough money in the bank, and didn't want to have it just sit there.
His salary is just a lttie over 19K so I think it's a good investment in the long run.

Thanks for all the help guys!

Thats a nice salary for an Exceptional trainer you will be able to keep him for quite a few seasons before u might think of replacing him with a cheaper option.

to me, lvl 5 trainer is the absoluut minimum if you want to train your players in a good way.

and i think that the difference between a lvl 5 and a lvl 6 trainer is about 2.5 weeks of extra training. between a lvl 4 (advanced) and a lvl 5, you'll have 3, maybe even 4 weeks of difference...

the difference is rahter large between a 4 ( advanced) and a 5 ( superior). and their still is a difference between a lvl 5 and 6 (significant enough to make you pay the extra 500k to get that lvl 6 trainer)

for the lvl 7 trainer, i got no data on that, so can't help you their...

also, i'd put your lvl of your trainer in fucntion of which position you want to train.

if you train monopost C position of C's all the time, a lvl 4 could do the job.

however, don't try training an SF with a lvl 4 trainer, or you'll never get him to a decent lvl... even with a lvl 5, it's really hard to get him up to a decent lvl... for SF training, i'd suggest a lvl 6, because their so hard to train well...

on a side note, got 2 from teh 5 feedback for my manual. expect to see a post somewhere towards the end of this week, to announce the new manual

I paid $1,623,800. Pretty pricy, but I really want to actually make a difference in training.

I was wondering if it'd be smart for me to train this player into an SF? Ive been training 5 big guys so far, but I can use some training with others if need be.

Weekly salary: $ 4 921

DMI: 11000
Age: 18
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: average

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: mediocre
Driving: mediocre Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: inept

Experience: atrocious

I just dont know if his potential would help. His suggested position is power forward.

Actually I just noticed his outside defense is horrible.

I've got too many short PF's on my team. Two are at 6'8.

But maybe with an exceptional trainer....
