Funny comments about last minute bids. I think it is a sympton of the younger want it now crowd. Sorry folks, that is how auctions work. Was at a real auction the other day and put in a bid on a mower at the "going twice" moment. Did that several times and the other guy wanted to actualy get in a fight about it. He ended up getting arrested by the cops when he pushed a cop because of his temper got out of control.

Till the gavel goes down, any and all bids are valid! DEAL WITH IT!

P.S. I won the mower.Sold it in parking lot for 10 bucks more. Drinking the good beer for the Coke 600 tonight!!!

You have to admit it is still frustrating though. :P

And in a real life auction it is different, you don't have to wait for 3 minutes, you only have to wait for "Going once, going twice, going three times, gone". A far shorter wait :P

Its also annoying when you have to go somewhere right during a bid war. You have to debate whether or not tossing up a crazy price for the player or just letting him go. Then when a new manager starts bidding your ready to punch yourself or computer.

my pet peeve is that the search option in the forums is a supporter option...I'm a person that likes to search for my answers instead of having to post threads since I am only given a limited view of a few threads to view from.

other than that my own stupidity and impatience
