I don't quite understand. Before, you didn't have to pay a salary to fired/transfered players. What's to deal with, sorry I don't get it ?

Based on:
I really don't understand why salaries should be paid in advance, it's counter-intuitive and completely against the common practice even in sports.

If you had a system where salaries were not paid in advance, and a player is fired a day before his payday, I can't imagine it would be the common practice for that player to simply accept not being paid for the 6 days he "worked" in the week which he was not paid for. So when you fired/transferred a player, you'd then be obligated to ensure that he was paid for the amount of the week he "worked" for you, which would be a major annoyance (imagine not being able to fire a player because you don't have enough cash!). From a game design standpoint, it makes perfect sense to just give each player their paycheck at the beginning of the week.

But that's exactly what used to happen before the change, no salary for players not in the roster at the time of the economic update even if they had played during the week. It was never singled out as a problem.

Paying in advance is new from last season, now you have to pay a wage for players who can be fired/transfered without playing any game. It's not an improvement from the previous situation, it's still somewhat bizarre but now furthermore it's against common practice.

No need to make a fuss about it, it's no big deal but I still don't understand why it was implemented like that.

now if a player got fired on the start of the week and he didn't play single game he still receive a full week paycheck.

and besides that event this week there isn't a game since this week will end with off-season processing and next week will be the first game so it doesn't matter if the get paid at the start of the week or at the end of the week as long as that week has a scheduled league game. hence, this week since it doesn't have a scheduled league game there shouldn't be any salaries.

i suggest for each player gets fired treated by playing game this week or not if he play one game he gets half his salary and if he plays two he get his full salary.
