I do however feel that it seems* we got a 'strange' situation in BB. But that's only for teams who already win their second PO final game, and cannot play their third. They miss out on the ticketmoney of the third game while teams who need a third game do get that income.

Because I'm in that situation, I think it's strange too. Why not replacing Gate receipts by winning primes, like in tournament? I mean:
- you are in PO => prime (to have an advantage to finish 4th instead of 5th)
- you win the first PO round => prime
- you win the conference final => prime
- you win the championship (in 2 or 3 games) => prime

Having the HCA is allready a big advantage to win; I don't see the interest to have also more money because playing at home.

This could be another interesting point for discussion.
In my opinion the HCA should not be so "big" as seems to be.

Great comparison:
When Barcelona win the Champions League, UEFA give them the prize of about 40 M €.
When Man Utd won the Premier League, FA give them the prize of about 15 M GBP.
Premier League (I.1) in BuzzerBeater only competition without prize.

And they also expended lot of money paying extras to the players for the title.

Money prizes to the winner of D1 is nonsense. If some team is the champion he is supposed to be the better team, if you give more money the difference to the rest will grow even more. Where's the funny of that?

You are unhappy by losing money? Next time get HCA, and don't overpay.

And he already earns a lot more the next season, for the championship is it so easy to say that it is true, and the fact that we have so many champions who repeat their title year for year shows it quite good. Yes they are good managers, but they ain't loosing money cause of it, even when they are in the read during playoffs.

Last season i had max income around 570k for a home game, thise season i was constantly at 610k(my hard cap with my arena), till i drop out the cup.

1. You butthurt?
2. The top team shouldn't be pushed further ahead.
3. Try better tactics.
4. Stop over paying.
5. If you do #4 because of other teams then refer to #3.
6. If you say #3 is too hard/difficult then you deserve to drop down.
7. You are the "top" team so you need to be best in all aspects.
8. Stop crying about your first world problems, you have it good up there with your huge income + B3.
9. *MOST IMPORTANT* This isn't real life.
10. MAD?

So you earned 40k per home game due to winning of a championship. There is about 11 homegames in one season....that makes 440k, maximum.

Now if we compare what happened and scenario 3, there is 834k difference. So by winning a championship without HCA is not profitable, not even close!

More profitable is to win a cup and get into BBB that way.

I played 4 games in PO, and won the title.
QF - Home; SF - Away; F- Away; F - Home
Profit= $-241.347

Scenario 3:
If I had not qualified for PO:
Profit= $592.585

I personally think that this is not just a question of paying too high salaries, or HCA, or BBB, or fact that 5th place is the best one. Current situation is insane that losing a game gives you more money than winning a game (in a short and in a long run).

that was the difference betwen one and position 2, and through my arena prices there might be ways for optimation. And for me 500k ain't so few, and a lot of champions are able to repeat. The mentioned roster, also isn't designed very good. I am confident to beat him with noticable lower salary.

winning the cup means sacrifying league succes, or buying an "thrid" row of players which you had to pay with average 80-90k bucks each week. Don't know if this is so profitable. But yes it isomething you should desire, i believe like the championship.

His point was that Barca and Man U are in debt despite their success. They bought more than they could afford, just like you did.

BB doesn't have prizes for success because it's a fixed economy. Your players don't get bonuses, you can't sign sponsorship deals, and you can't generate as an oil baron and start with $1 bil in V leagues, either. Your comparison is self-serving and inaccurate.
