Ok, I understand your point and you're right about the situation in smaller countries. I must to admit that I haven't thought about that.
But still I'm sure that if young player is good, there is small chance that he will be bought by daytrader because managers will gonna fight for him. There's a lot of them that want to have a NT player.
For me daytrading is a part of this game but I can imagine living without it so if there are people who suffer from DT, it should be limited much more than it's now. I will support that.

a) Why can't you fix both?

b) I don't totally agree. India is counted as a small country I am sure 50-100 players but they are a very active community with great players competing, training and chatting on the forums. However nations with two users would be very sad.

c) One change is MUCH easier than the other. How to reorganise the micro-nations would be a massive undertaking causing endless debate about who to merge which could be very political and actually moving teams to different nations would cause a lot of issues as well. Fixing day trading requires them to change the numbers on some already existing code. Probably take five minutes at most. The easiest way is change the minimum contract length from 4 days at present to 30 days.

Did you ever see a real team that purchase several players and not even using them?

Is this game is an eBay-game or a BB-managing game?

Look at his TH, and you will understand why he is saying what he does.

Baseball team draft ton of players, then send them to minor leagues.

NBA teams does the same with European players whom they hold the rights. Many frenchmen were in this situation. Look Fred Weis for example. Is it not a gambling more than basketball ?

You are speaking about draft trades.
This had nothing to do with PURCHASING a bunch of players just for selling them after a very short time.

VFL Wolfsburg, Germany. FC Schalke 04 before. Manchester City, UK.

There´s slightly longer time periods, because you´re lmiited to no more than one change in a season in Europe (that other division from NBA, you know) and of course it´s just soccer, but to some degree it´s still daytrading.

Zwei Dinge sind unendlich, die Dummheit und das All...

Exactly ;)
And yes I've seen that kind of trading even in NBA. You thought some player will be great but he don't fulfill your expectations so you sell him to another team that want him. Simple

in germany we have several player each season who get kicked out again, before they played or after some games every season. Since they often get replacement of player, who suffer the same in other countrys and i remember some of them coming out of israel that seem to be not so uncommon.

But yes player trading in basketball is pretty rare. But we have player agency like beobasket controlling teams, to get their players there and represent them on a top level. At least beobasket handled it like that in the late 90s and they are in control of a serbian team right now even when i didn't look at their player movement.(also Alba berlin who often get they player there didn't get so much new player every season like in the past^^)

And again you contradict yourself.

"Slightly" longer period?
So, I understand that you support a single transaction for player in each year.
That will mean that he will be part of a team for at least on seasons.
Great!

I've never seen, and sure not to current extent, a player who is being bought and after a week is being sold.
Here, where the market is not limited and day-traders, who tries to make their eBay game stay as such, can define values, that will never be seen on any real league.
Hence, this period needs to be extended and not shortened.

I'm sure that the herd of day-traders will support your claim, but it is not for you, me or them to decide what will happen with this suggesiton.
