What a shorter TL period will indirectly cause (and this will allow all to understand those who are against it) is that more users will be part of each auction due to the shorter period.
By that, those who are taking advantage of current auction implementation will have less chance to play there eBay-game where they exploit this and purchase players for lower value that they are worth.

This alone makes this a good suggestion.
BUT
I prefer the Semi-Auto auction system that I've presented which have additional advantages.

Yes... that is the "reason"...
Because it is so "confusing" to set a starting price in addition to maximum price...
How can soimeone ask that hard task to be part of a game?...

This is a different suggestion. No need to start over again about your ebayish TL proposal. Remember, it´s you who doesn´t want BB to be an Ebay game.

A week wouldnt hurt. Also some "A player has to have played at least one regular season game for the team before beeing eligible for the off season" or "A player has to appear in any Cup game before the final" in order to play the final would be nice.

This.
Or even 2 weeks... so that a team is responsible for a lil' bit more of the salary.

Just wanna say BB isn't an Ebay game. Just sayin'.

Ofc it's not, because our transfer list in BB is just out of control.

We haven't any stabilized prices, it's just a jungle where the best are able to ''lie'' over the managers who don't scouted the TL and finally ends paying too much for a player.

It's another lack of the game, now if you want to be a suceed manager it's better you expend more time scouting the TL than scouting your opponents.

It wasn't like this 5-7 seasons before, but now sadly it is.

And the chinese community are experts doing this, they doesn't seem to play a basketball online game, but yes an invest game :)

This is exactly what playing this game the eBay-way means.

"Some" users are doing just that - creating a huge assets due to the longer time they are playing, and by exploiting TL bad implementation.
Than, due to the fact that there is no Salary-cap, they posses a team that by value is higher than others, and any tactic they will use will not change much of the outcome.

Those users wants to keep this that way.
