Googled him? Are you kidding me? The Tom Chambers, Eddie Johnson and Alvan Adams Suns teams were great. Later on with a young Kevin Johnson and Jeff Hornecek even better.

Anytime you throw out obscure 80s players I am immediately going to relate.

Just don't get Yuck started on his Mike Gminski fetish. Best dunker in EA's Lakers vs Celtics days...

I'm not old enough to have seen them play unfortunately, although I do have some vague memories of the Jordan v. Barkley Finals where I first started to become a Suns fan. And as great a player/shooter as Hornacek was, he may end up being an even better coach.

Hornecek has done a great job this year. The Barkley Suns were fun, KJ and Thunder Dan, All Over Miller, and poor Richard Dumas. One of the most talented players ever to just piss away his career on coke. The kid would have been great.

Stockton was way more dirty then Hornacek.

O'neal didn't commit fouls, he was just bigger, faster, and stronger. He must have got hacked 100 times, every game. You know he was unstoppable when they had to change rules for teams to play against him.

I never knew Cartwright was dirty.

I'm with you, no way Shaq was dirty. Just big and powerful. I actually don't think Hornecek was dirty till he got to the Jazz. That whole team was dirty but hid behind their goody two shoes Utah image. Cartwright enjoyed swinging those pointy elbows at people's head.

The only thing I can recall about Cartwright was his long over-the-head shot, that looked almost like a pass. I dropped 1 of those on my nephew last weekend. His jaw hit the ground.

You should've followed it up with Bill Wennington jazz-hands:
