Sadly we lost the key game we needed to make the next stage. We would now need to beat Iran to make it to the 2nd stage. If we fail to make the 2nd stage I plan on focusing on the 20 year olds for scrimages for the rest of season to prepare for next year. Any issues of questions please let me know.

Congrats on a successful season so far in your pool play.

Jamaica is in the same position. Our remaining schedule is against much higher ranked opponents. We will need help from other teams to make the second round. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/world/standings.aspx?teamid=1...

We are locked at #68/#69 in the latest rankings. In the worst case scenario that sees both of us exiting early, JA20 is ready for the first neutral site challenge. Onward to 2nd round glory, Nippon!

Thanks Mix

We lost our highest salary player to injury and he was on poor gameshape for our 3rd game. We now take on the top 3 sides in our pool. Will be a big upset if we can knock one off. But we will try.

Good luck to you.

So we have one more real game left this season. I did try and pull off an upset but we could not knock off top 20 ranked teams. After the coming game I will be changing the side to 20 and 19 year olds to work on next season.

Thanks to those who kept their players in good game shape. We just did not have the skills and depth to do well this season. As a rule for Australia we have guys aiming for 12 in main skills. And some people who get their do not make it. I have a 21 year old with these skills who is not even in the Australian squad (do not agree with him not being in) with 13 JS 10 JR 13 GD 8 HN 9 DR and 9 Passing.

If you have a 20 or 19 year old can we please aim fo1 at least try and aim for the following skills for next season?

PG - OD 12+ PS 11+
SG - OD 12+ JS 11+ JR 8+ PS 8+
SF - OD+ID 20+ and either JS 10+ or IS 10+ and some passing if possiable.
Bigs - IS 11+ ID 11+ RB 9+

Thanks

Trying with my new guy Kunisada... but maybe when he's 20 ((34048999)). I only drafted him this season.

Good work Mickyster. Unfortunately, I have nothing to offer player-wise at the moment.

Sorry to those effected but I was so use to the late time I did not set a lineup in time. Thankfully the default lineup kept 6 guys playing. With a OT win over their full squad it was a good result.

Next week will see lots of the new guys into the game. Keep your gameshape up. If you are not sure how let me know and I can explain it fully. But in a nit shell make sure your guys play between 48 and 80 mins.

We went down tonight to a team ranked in the top 50 which is where I believe we should be aiming for at this stage. The big difference looking at the game is our bigs are not even close to 21 NT level.
Training a 21 NT level big is one of the easy things to do. Play the player for 48 mins each week at C and do training of IS, RB and ID in that order. Most 21 NT team have numerous guys over 25k salary with skills of 12 in each of those key ones for a big. In fact there are players with over 100k each season in 21 NT. Even training to this level for 21 NT will not effect long term balance of the player as once they leave the 21 NT they can train those outside skills. This has been done by a guy who played for Australian 21 NT with 100k salary and now is in the NT side with 10+ in passing and OD and very good JS. IF you have a possible big please train ID/IS as much as possible as we are going to struggle if our best bigs are not close to that level. Here is the info from tonight's game. We got close but could never beat them with such a large gap in IS, but main ID and RB.

average (medium) Outside Scoring average (low)
prominent (medium) Inside Scoring average (medium)
mediocre (low) Perimeter Defense mediocre (high)
average (high) Inside Defense inept (high)
mediocre (low) Rebounding awful (high)
average (low) Offensive Flow average (medium)
