Congrats Window Lickers! You get to face the weakest Division 2 playoff team in BB history :P

Can’t believe I made it as a 3rd seed thought for sure I would drop out as I was selling players lol...

I appreciate the lengths your conference went to in order to guarantee I'm not the worst 3 seed in the division.

What a weird game! Just over a minute left in the quarter, we have overcome an early 19-10 deficit to tie the game...but the weird part is we have 7 total rebounds so far, and Streetlight has 9 offensive boards!! No idea how we erased their lead when they are scoring on nearly every possession!

I'm having one of those games. It's kind of deserved after some of the fleecings I've inflicted on Telecasters, but we just gave up a basket in the last minute of the half where we actually rotated to block the shot. Of course, my abysmal shooting is not entirely unexpected, but my defense giving up points like they are is annoying. The really sad thing is this could end up a 98-47 type game, or it could be one of those stupid buzzerbeater games where I'll shoot 20% for three and a half quarters and then 10-13 from beyond the arc late to make it a closer game than it should be. It just sucks that the game is flawed in how ridiculously streaky teams are - a team can go 7 minutes without scoring and later put up 15 points in three or four minutes, and that's just another Tuesday in BB.

[edit: the fourth quarter is the third one that I had a 5-1 lead early in the quarter.]

Good game, Hrudey! The Clog’s have given my Telecasters a couple whoopings during the regular season, it felt good to get payback when it counted the most!

Yep. And it spared me the potential embarrassment of doing something stupid in the conference final. I had been wondering if a 2-3 zone might actually be somewhat effective when I have a metric asston of shot blocking. I don't think I would have done it, but I finally gave in and tried it in my PL final today and the results... well, fortunately it was an experiment that I didn't care about. But for future reference, if I want to score in the 80s, all I have to do is play a defense that ensures I give up 110.

Congrats Procta, your boys ran mine out of the gym in the 1st and 4th quarter. Actually had a tie (maybe even a lead) in the later stages of the 4th and then you just pulled away. Got to say, I developed a strong dislike for that Rich Hansen and his ability to foul, draw fouls and put back misses. Oh well. Good luck in the finals, make the Big 8 proud!

I hear that. You had the most inside scoring, and BB rarely punishes teams for having relatively shitty outside defense against outside scoring teams, because the advantage you get for rebounding and getting fouled and shooting percentage by running inside offenses just isn't quite enough.
