Perfunctory montage of highlights from previous nights.

Announcer: in a season chock full of surprises tonight promises to see more.

The thieves look to pull off another heist, though going into the litter box against a feral group of kitties is a tough task

The eggs and jacks battle with a spot in the top half at stake

Bacon looks to move back towards the top while masters will try to continue their surprising start

And after shocking the kitties the tornadoes now try to avoid becoming inc maiden victim

In the big 8


The brewskies and breathers battle with the top spot at stake

Will the bunnies look to make a move against srar or are they still content to tank?

And there is little doubt pride is in complete rebuild, though when this project is complete it will be quite a squad, but tonight is another lesson in the plan as they face a generals club looking to get back on track

And deronimo visits waffles in a game that could be telling about both teams long term prospects


Sybil will have her say. Alfred's angle and Lee's way will of course help set the stage for the day. And we take a look at the cup matchups for round 3 to see who should live to see another day. All that and more is on the way as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

Mouthbreathers vs. MastersOfBBall...not once but twice. First in league play, then in the following cup game.

Never seen this happen before. Certainly creates some interesting decisions, doesn't it?

I've had that happen before

When that happened to me, the opponent was my rival. I won the league match and lost the Cup match. It had a noticeable impact on my merchandising until I met and beat them in the playoffs later that season.

Your opening montage starts with slow motion shots of players intensity and passion with the action clips coming in a more frenetic manner as the tempo of tonight's theme increases.

announcer: as we exit the first stage of conference play the intensity starts to increase on a nightly basis as the jockeying for position continues. With each passing night the championship chase reaches new dimensions. Tonight is just another step on the journey.

Over in big blue

at the top of the table sits two teams unaccustomed to reaching such heights as the home standing brewskies face off against their neighbors from down the road in the Generals as this edition of the battle for Bryan Blvd has stakes previous editions have not.

But both teams could be left sitting in the dust as the Breathers get the free lap against pride.

Deronimo will look to stay part of the conversation while Srar will seek to knock the venerable slaughterhouse presence down a notch.

and the Waffles and Bunnies battle in a contest to see which team might be in position to pull their way back up the standings.

Off in club red it's not nearly as dramatic but each night is important to those trying to stay in the thick of the race.

the baconators look to bump off the lumberjacks to try and get themselves back towards contention

the masters are going to attempt to avoid the road blues against egg

and the kitties look to keep cruising at the top of the table while Inc still searches for their first win of the season

Another one of those slow motion starts that cascade into more frenetic pacing of past action.

Announcer: we are a week out before Christmas but there are some teams looking to get their gifts early! And with interconference play starting we are going to find out real fast who has been naughty and who is looking nice.

The generals get another stern road test with a trip to tangle with the lumberjacks

It will be deronimo seeking to steal a road with over the thieves

The baconators battle the brewskies

Egg gets one over easy against pride

Inc still is trying to get off the schnide against the refocused bunnies

And srar seeks to sneak one over on the tornadoes

Sybil will have her say... Alfred and Lee are on the way, and we will look closer at what the fans hope to see in their teams stockings come Christmas day. Toss another log on the Yuletide fire, it's all about to transpire as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!!!

BTW another league battle royale in the next round of the cup as thieves and brewskies battle. Seems like the selection committee likes matching up slaughterhouse foes, makes for good TV.

A opening montage of yuletide joy from the fans players coaches and even refs. Morphing into your shots of action from recent nights.

Announcer: with the holidays right around the corner the race continues to heat up. Who will eventually find championship gold under their Christmas tree and who will find lumps of coal in their stocking? Tonight we find a little bit more about where the season will lead.

The opening night saw a dead heat as club fed held home court, tonight we get to see what happens with the action switching to big blue venues.

The tornadoes will touch down in the new river valley to take on deronimo

the bunnies look to continue their recent bounce back with the top standing kitties coming to town

srar seeks to keep inc feeling the holiday blues


the breathers will send holiday greetings to the baconators

in a battle of a pair of teams seeking to get to the top the lumberjacks get to sample the brewskies latest holiday blends

pride is becoming not the Grinch who stole Christmas but more like the scrooge who is stealing a entire season. But dont worry pride fan, there are betterdays afoot. Of course it won't be much solace as Masters will come in their house and treat it like Billy Ray Valentines friends did in Trading Places.

The thieves visit the coliseum to take on the generals before they get to have the other gate city team to town for the holiday [proper


And egg will nog into Louisville to face off against the Waffles

Tonight a little something different as we give you a different take on a holiday classic.....

Announcer:

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the slaughterhouse

All the bleacher creatures were stirring, ready to pounce

The standings were hung with the leaders taking care

To ensure in the postseason they would be there

Visions of promotion dancing in their head

The lower half of the standings would find, teams fighting not to be left behind

And Sybil the soothsayer with her crystal ball getting ready to tell all

With Alfred and Lee filled with holiday glee

When all of a sudden club red arenas filled with a clatter

With big blue teams coming to town to settle the matter

When much to my eyes and with sudden surprise

I noticed that teams like the breathers and brewskies we're atop the standings and it was not a disguise

While in club fed the collective was filled with dread

Concerned the kitties were about to pound on their heads

And while teams like pride were settled in for a long winter's nap

There were other teams like Inc with losing streaks to snap

And while clubs like the generals we're looking to get fatter

For some like the bunnies came the realization that this season does matter

And while teams like the waffles and srar we're just trying to find a way to get better

Teams like masters and deronimo were intent on remaining near where the leaders are tethered


And while the cup still overflows for some

For some those dreams are already done

So no matter where in the pecking order your team currently stands

Get off your feet and clap your hands

Because the only thing that makes Christmas better

Is Alfred trying to get the hang of the new telestrator

And while vox pouli gives each team a idea on where things at the gate will run
