That's wrong.

From the rules:

The top two teams will advance into two second-round groups, each group composed of teams from six different first-round groups


What I had was indeed correct.


I wrote the wrong thing. There are 6 games in group play (7 teams). One of the teams that are 4-0 in each group can end up 4-2 and tied by another team.

They are, except for the Americas. So you were probably adding in today's games for a 2nd time in Europe.
