most suddenly not. Everyone is free to like and dislike the features in the game as he sees fit.

however it is not fun to spread a thought out over the entire forum. So we try to keep all frustrations nicely boxed into 1 thread.

If you have a girl-friend, please send her to therapy, before her head blows. ;)
(I asume you HAD to tell her about it too. ;þ )

you know as a gm instead of replying in this manner

you should have did your kind due or help by answering my concerns regarding that

i did ask the question since all i got answer on that is its a long term, but i ask if his level went level 9 from the level 10 then how would that work on the long run as you say!

also no one did answer regarding how long is that long term and how much results am i suppose to be expecting.

if you just kindly replied on that, i might have shut up already, because im not a shallow guy i think a lot but the results im getting is not explaining or justifying that action.

honestly your doing a great damn thing as a GM here, representing the whole BB group! totally sucks!

now i tell you, i dont have a gf now! because mostly women around me see's me as a walking dollar sign. and i dont need one now, just imagine im rotting in my pad and my lifestyle of working and partying drinking jack daniels with cola! now if your going to ask me why i dont have supporter its because im in another country away from my mother land and my papers allows me to stay but in easy words have limited access.

now about the theraphy thing, i think you should run first a crash course on how to be a GM or a leader in a community.

because last i check on my post i wasnt even making trouble and i get this kind of reply and especially from a GM?

oh plrease !!! your really really doing a bloody damn great job!

I fell a little behind here and am sorry to only read your post just now.
In fact I was wondering what I did wrong, so I had to re read my post, and now I see why you are upset.

Actually that post was written in a very friendly way, much to friendly, and that is where it went wrong.

My intonation and intention did come over wrong. Actually only the first sentence in that post is to be taken seriously, the rest of it was meant as jokes. That is why I put and ;) at the end. If you see post from me ending with, ;), :þ or ;þ, you shouldn't take them too seriously mostly, and never think I am in bad temper or want to say something hard or harsh.

As for the answer to your question: I don't know, I seriously think nobody knows. The effects of the staff are very difficult to measure, except maybe for the trainer. I think a lvl 10 PR man might help me in the long run, if you don't think so, you can hire a lvl 1, this is a choice every manager needs to make for his own team.

I hope you get a better view on the intention of my previous post now, and appologise for it being written so badly it came over in the wrong way, it certainly wasn't meant that way!

Most likely a top division team benefits from a top PR, while a low division team might consider a cheaper alternative. The reason being that potential incomes are higher in a higher division thus it is worth the investement (just as in real life, paying Phil Jacksons salary might make sense for the Lakers, but definitely would make no sense at all for the local team here in Linköping, KFUM Linköping.

The same is true about doctors. At a low division player salaries are quite low, so it might payoff to have a replacement extra, rather than paying e level 10 doctor salary.

For trainers it is more difficult, even though at the moment I think most teams benefit from as good trainer as possible. This will be true as long as the game grows quite rapidly. Once it stabilises I would believe that a level 10 coach perhaps wont make sense for a top division team, as they cannot afford to train that much if they want to stay competitive. For low division teams it might be a bad deal too, as they are training guys in such low levels that it is not worh spending to much money in them. On the other hand mid level teams might benefi from a level 10 trainer.

everything is of course specualtions, but I hope it makes sense.

it all makes sence. I couldn't have said it any better.

However CoolCat is asking if there is ANY reason at all why to hire a lvl PRmanager above lvl 1, because he feels they have no effect whatsoever.
And that is a question I can't answer for sure. It is supposed to, but is it doing it? I'm not sure. I guess (read I hope) it is, because I am hoping my expensive PR man is going to repay my in a larger amount of time, where the short term benefit is hard to spot, if there is any at all...

Uo are right. Well I'm convinced that the PR manager pays off, because the PR manager should be the easiest staff to program.

At the same time CoolCat pinpoints a sever problem with the system; it is nearly impossible to judge how big the effect a PR manager is, because their is basically no good feedback from it. Thus PR managers become a little bit of a lottery; you take a guess and hope you are doing the right thing, rater than making an analysis and ending up doing the right or wrong thing depending on how good your analysis is.

Trainers on the other hand are much easier to analyse as you have mor direct data yourself and this data is quite easy to compare with others.

right now im trying to think of it as a grey area

because i dont see results as to what this PR guy can do. if one is too think that winning is the formula here which enchances the performance of the PR guy then why hire one since your just adding cost.

even if he increases your ticket holders of the season that in effects to next season plus it might not even be that consistent because im sure they wont come 100% of the games you play.

if ticket pricing has a effect on the attendance even with great PR officer then im thinking probably there are some division 1 leagues have smaller markets than other division teams on other countries.

i think im going to end this inquiry since its off topic

and . . . . GM lord of doom my apologies for my words, i was just hoping to get a serious answer which i did but the joke part wasnt really interpreted as is

thanks for replying
