Henderson brought better passing and smiley was supposed to bring more inside impact, both of whom were in better GS. It was good in theory, but yeah valle proved to be irreplaceable.

Really, all four of the guards that played did well. Only problem last night is we didnt have a PF that could mark Noya, which doesnt really exist on our roster. Levesque would have been nice, but even his skillset wasnt good enough to expect to shutdown Noya.

If I could hire the Czech coach I would - he is the only one who has found out how to get the ball to Noya and take advantage of the mismatches that he creates. He usually just stands around and watches everyone else shoot in my games.

Right. It just goes back to Buzzerbeater needing a bit more granularity in being able to funnel the ball to a specific person and/or more control over substitutions and match ups.

Yeah, I have to imagine the BBs are aware of this, otherwise they are out of touch.


per charles, they spend 85% of their time just doing maintenance. Id assume any major GE overhaul would be pretty time intensive, esp if the goal was to do it right and address many of the issues brought up here. Charles also stated that they like to use the remaining non maintenance time to work on reducing the amount of time they have to do maintenance.

Well, at first thought, I would imagine that there would be increased turnovers and other players turning down shots that maybe in a normal offense they would have converted.

Yikes. That is not a good ratio especially since maintenance is never as much fun as creating new stuff. I hope they get that ratio down for their sakes.

Fortunately for all, BB-Charles said that was how they spent thier time this season, but that next season they would try and implement more new material and/or changes. I think we are talking about the same post that GM-brianjames is refering to.
