You've got it, Witness. It simply means training one position for the greatest "bite" of training for any one particular player. For example, by training PG only in pressure instead of two positions, each player who plays at PG gets a bigger "bite' of training than he would if you were training PG -SG...Pappy

If I have a player and for the sake of argument he plays 3 positions det 40 minutes as a shooting guard 20 at point and 20 at small forward will he recieve any training at all if I only train shooting guards. will he recieve training if I train point and shooting guards?

In this case, your player will receive training for:

a) 40 minutes when training single position SG.
or b) Full training (48+ minutes) when training PG/SG.

If you set your training to only one positioon and play the guy in the way you described above, he would only get training based on the position you are training in. But if you have it set to two positions, say PG/SG, any combination of minutes in those two positions will work.

If i use a player for 48 minutes during one game wont he get tired at the of the game and his performance will start decreasing? Is stamina important in that? Im talking about bb game and not aboyt the game in real life because there i know for a fact that stamina matters.

I always train 2 positions too. To me, a week is a long time, and to only get 2 players improving is just seems like a waste..If I can get say 4 or 5 players sub-levels to go up, then my team will be better as a hole... Just one mans opinion.. peace

I've been single position training for about a season and have managed to train 3 players almost every week.

I've toyed with the idea of eventually training just the SF position and making some uber SFs, especially for my country's NT/U21 teams. SFs seam to be a relatively hard position to train since they are in that strange limbo between big man and guards, and don't necessarily have nice training options set up. I also think that a good SF might make a nice chunk of change for the team that trains them well.

Of course, this is only my third season in the game, and could be (and probably am) way off base here :)
