All-Star Break

The Panthers enter the All-Star break with an 8-5 record. They have won the last 6 games and plan to keep it going for the second half of the season. The Panthers have found their grove and what they want to play and seem to be playing very well as of late.

One fan said:
"It is very fun to see America's Team in action. I cannot wait for the playoff picture to develop and hopefully the Panthers end up in the playoffs and win it all."

The Panthers would like to thank all of those that hated on them from the beginning as they helped them become a better team. Also they would like to thank America for supporting them and ganging up on anybody who tried to insult them.

There are no Panthers participating in the All-Star Break and it seems that this is good, so the players can get rest and be ready to play on Saturday at 8 pm against Extreme23! Go Panthers!

Too bad you didn't end up in the Great 8 instead. Saw you have the same record as their 1st place team, yet would end up playing to avoid relegation if the season ended today.

3 Big 8 teams have $40k players & 1 even has a $70k center (10598825).... & it's DIV!

The ratings not super weak, my 65k C normally gets 14.0, even though his average for this season has been brought down a bit because I've been playing him out of position a couple games. Im guessing the 70k center has bad secondaries and a lot of rebounding. the ratings are slightly weak, but not to bad.

Well even if his ratings aren't all that great, the point is that there's still a $70k guy in his DIV conference, & a couple other $40k players too. But yeah those 12.5 ratings are *terrible* for that salary. Especially since he isn't playing out of position. (all games are at C ).

Even my $10k PF/C that rarely plays anymore put up a 12.5 game rating playing all 48 minutes last season!

Edit -- reply was to both of you, sorry.

Congratulations for smurfing the Smurfs. I am concerned about the state of our country when broadcast TV can show America's team getting Angerfisted at 8pm on a Saturday night, but stand up for America! (If only because sitting down might be painful).

We Ain't Gonna Slow Down

The Panthers have now won 10 straight games. They are in playoff position for the third time this season (first two weeks). Sadly, the Panthers play the number one team on Saturday at 8 pm. We caught up with Buckeyefan01 with his opinion on the game.

Buckeyefan01 had this to say:
"We have a lot of momentum and our players are very excited to being playing on TV and to be playing such a matchup. We will refuse to lose and will stay in the playoffs. We feel we have a great shot at becoming a number 3 seed or being able to cruise into the playoffs if things go our way."

The Panthers look to be doing well as they head into their matchup with Angerfist on Saturday at 8 pm. Go Panthers!

Screw watching the game on TV, I'll be observing the Angerfisting in person. $8 for a bleacher seat. What a deal!!!

The reporter seems to be mathmatically challenged, as I am quite sure it's only 9 wins. lol

Also, did Spain make a deal with America's Team? It seems that America's team is using Spanish players in place of good ol' Americans!

America's Team has won 10 straight league games. (never question the quality of Panther Press or their reporting staff). Also, since you were nitpicking -- it has to be pointed out that you spelled "mathematically" wrong.

1 - Baylor Bears, 2- Boston Warriors, 3 - Law Dawgs B.C., 4 - Johnston County Bootleggers, 5 - Minsk - 2006, 6 - DJ Stars, 7 - Extreme23, 8 - Black Death, 9 - Casa Grande Aztecs, 10 - Smurf Village Smurfs. That = 10?

To be clear, that's not counting their scrimmage wins. (like their win over the "swagganauts" at "swagg city" arena.)
