My next 2 games are big ones. Chelsea away then Hags at home. Be interesting to see the standings after Saturday.

Yeah two losses for you and two wins for me could see that battle for 2nd heating right up. Though I've got a couple of tough ones myself and I think you will finish ahead. Your current team will be a pretty fair battle for the conference title against Hag.
@ Moosa - Yeah i've thought that before about my avatar. Would have been a good one for you but then your avatar is used across a number of different management sims. Your's is a bit of a trademark while mine is really just for BB.

What an epic game Aussie, I win by a missed free throw! Despite being at home and having very enthusiasm. Scary news, I knew you were very strong, but you are even stronger than I feared.

That was a crucial loss too. Had Aussie put that in the bank and followed up with a win against Hags at home next game, he would have stitched up top spot. I'm tipping Aussie to win this top of the table clash and it's going to make for a very, very close battle for the Great 8 Conference Championship. Honestly can't see Aussie losing any games after Hag and it's likely El Hag could do the same. That means if Aussie does win next game, it's going to come down to PD for top spot at the season's end. Let the battle begin! :-D

What about possibly the upset of the season with moosa's beating Hag?!! Could be crucial in the run home. Going to be brutal on our side for survival, with some making their moves in the transfer market already. Enthusiasm and pd will be pivotal.
Good luck all!

Yeah absolutely, there is a huge battle for top spot in the Big 8 with a number of teams still a fair chance of taking no.1. The Moose has made some big purchases and is looking to come home strong. HCA will be important and I doubt he can get to tops spot before playoffs start.

Ok lets tone it down a little. I am aimiing for a playoff game. I have had the same team now for a couple of weeks and I am still getting cleaned up most of the time. I bought players to avoid relegation games as I was 7th. I think we all know Beechy will be coming. I didn't want to be the one he was after.

Yeah I agree, he's now selling up too. A bit late in the season to be avoiding relegation from where he's at.

well 950k for a big man 18 years old seem to be a good price. maybe it will trigger him to push for that 6th spot.
dont forget he has 3 core players already with the new SG and beechy is still possibly one of the best SF in the league.

He has no intention of going back to Div III. This is a plan devised at the begining of the season. I suspect we will see Beechy back in the top 4 next season. Who knows what he has in the bank. It could be scary.
