Tonight's montage is a trip thru the season featuring scenes of the demise of all the clubs who have completed for our championship. Concluding with the last two survivors as put narrator waxes poetic on tonight's battle.

Cue: https://youtu.be/8dLcAmS0k5U

Three months ago our quest to crown a champion began. Tonight we could see the Lions take home the prize. Despite a rough Road that has left Ladson bumped and bruised the Lions were able to find enough left in the tank to take game one.

Now the scene switches to the litter box as the kitties will try to ride their vociferous supporters both inclined and feline will try to turn the tide to send us back to the NoCo for a deciding game three.

We will break down all the angles for tonight. Plus we will take a last look back at those who are going to be leaving the league. The transfer ticker comes back tonight as we catch up on all the hot stove happenings. Plus vox Populi returns as the fans will voice which stalwarts from the upper realms they would like to see land in the Slaughterhouse. It will not be a bore as we've got all that and more as it's time for the final Saturday night edition for '42 of BB2NIGHT

Refs appear to really cash in on that home court advantage - this time benefitting the kitties in game 2.
Game 1 had the FT breakdown favoring the home team - 32-42 compared to 7-10. Game 2 was marginally better- 28-38 compared to 8-14.

for Game 3 on sunday, any chance we can move this to a neutral court?

The settling sun sparkling upon the waters of the majestic bridges of Charleston as still images of a season boiled into one final night flicker in and out of the foreground.

Cue: https://youtu.be/TzzIU27ZzFw

Announcer: and now it's all down to one final night. Ladson outlasted the kitties to claim the first fall, while in game 2 the litter box was a house of horrors for the Lions as the kitties were in complete control from start to finish.

And now on a short turnaround we are back in the low country to crown a champion. Will the Lions and their loyal supporters carry the day, or do the kitties have something special for this occasion? These final 48 minutes will tell the tale as it is our great honor to present to you this seasons final edition of BB2NIGHT

Congratulations to the Lions on their title win - they certainly were the best team in the league. I hope they do well up in D.2. next season.

I am pleased that my kitties gave the Lions a good fight in round 3. I had a plan and it almost worked - although I could have executed it better. I was of two minds on how I could try and beat the lions and went it two different directions last week - doing a bit of plan A and a bit of plan B. If I had just stuck with plan A, rather than also doing a bit of plan B, before reverting back to plan A. I might have pulled an upset. But one will never know now.

Was also pleased that the refs called a good game - was actually stunned by my guys shooting from the line - may have made the game seem a little closer than it actually was.

Will be an interesting battle again next season in III.5, and hopefully my kitties will again be in the mix. But there is a real arms race going on in the league. Good luck to all next season as well.

Its no longer Summerville, its now Sommersville. Though his performance was positively. Havlicek like, all the way to stealibg the final effort.

Announcer staring into the camera with a empty arena behind as a couple of the guys in the cleaning crew sweep away the streamers and confetti used in the post game celebration.

What a wild ride it has been, and what a amazing amount of feedback in the forums . i applaud you all. A hearty congrats to the Lions. And a hearty s[message=XXX.YY]how of appriciation to all those who not just compete but participate. You make this silly little game what it is.

The great thing though about BB is another season is always around the corner. But before we turn our attention to next season lets take one last look back at the lasting legacy of another vintage season

Congrats to both of you! What a helluva series. That game could have gone either way. The Fierce Kitties just proved they have the best shot of moving up next season for sure. Good luck to the Ladson Lions. Has been a heckuva season. Just glad I was able to hang around for one more go....

Wow is all I can say about that last game. Unfortunately, RED will have to content with the Kitties again next for the who is coming in 2nd - 4th place as it stands atm. Mr. SCCavsFan, /tip my hat good sir. Well deserve title for you. You know I will keep in contact and track how it is going. Please don't come back, stay in D2!

I really thought that home field and enthusiasm would put you over this season Homer Cat.

I would also like to say a sad good bye and gl to Time Quake, Mighty Spartans, Team Game Winner, Lighting Bulls, and Marlin Sharks. Especially you Gympro, I am a bit partial to those who participate in the forum quite frequently. You gave it a good try, hope to see you back.

On to the next season, where are those rookies !!!
