Put a guy out the crowd at half court and blindfold him and i guarantee he makes at least one or two shots eventually just because of the repetition factor.
repetition = training ;-)
And we have training in BB, so it's enough to use it ;-)

I disagree completely.

Number one, assists in this game are much harder to get than in the NBA (for guards at least). An assist really means the player helped out with scoring. Therefore, if a player is atrocious in passing he should be able to help others score at all. If he could, it would devalue higher passing. If your main concern is "how can a player be able to handle/shoot the ball without being able to pass at all, then I believe the new training system takes care of that partially.

If your player played as PG as well there's a high likelihood of him going against good ODs. From personal experience, I know good defenders can make it very hard for bad passers to pick up assists.

So you think its realistic for a PG to go a whole career without an assist? K.

If a man has arms and plays thousands of minutes, he should get some occasional assists here and there. It would be impossible not to.

the thing i more wonder is, that you pretend him to be a PG ;) With such a PG the offense run totally over the other players.

A player without thousands of minutes logged at PG and 0 assists, does it happen in BB ?

Looking at your Team stats, you've never had such a player, you had an extremely selfish SF though.

If you put in a 10-year-old in the NBA, do you think he'll ever get an assist? I very much doubt it. That's essentially how I imagine the atrocious skill being.

Exactly.

If a manager decides to pick up a player with that type of skill, that's the manager's fault.

If he played thousands of minutes, of course he would. You'd have to be an idiot to think he wouldn't. You think it would be literally impossible for a 10 year old to pass a basketball to another human being? That's laughable.

I'm pretty sure that's not what an assist means.

People complaining about FT% want it eventually taken out of the game. You say 0 in 1000 is not realistic.
Well, guess what, 1 in 10 is also not realistic, even 1 in 5 is not. You think that everyone should start with 50% FT?
Don't forget this is a game please... It has simple rules. You train, you gain!
If we're talking about unrealistic, I also don't think that a guy with Strong passing and Atrocious Handling is realistic, or someone with Prominent JS and Atrocious JR, or a 7'5 player with Atrocious blocking. There are so many examples, but most people realize this is part of the game. Otherwise we would all have the same players with the same or similar skills and it would be booooring....
So please, stop moaning, and start training.

no we don't, don't exaggerate.

NO. Who ever said that? 15-20% would be nice though.

This is completely realistic and I've seen all of the above.

we didn't moan:) However, you are right. Cross-training gives random pops to FT so problem with all atrocious skills should be solved.
Thank you, BBs.
