The sad thing is that there were a few other players that felt the same that he did and left BB for that reason. For that reason, I think people who are in Div I and II should have the option of being in an international league if the reason calls for it.

They already have that option. They'll just have to win the league or the cup and they will earn a spot in the international league, BuzzerBeater's Best.

For what reason? That several users can't take the way the game is set up so they act like children? Is that a valid reason to radically changea system that is working very well? Or a valid response- to behave like a child? I think if people do not like the way the game is set up, they should make a suggestion in the suggestion forum. If the suggestion doesn't jibe with the BB's overall picture and is not implemented, then they should let their team expire or suck it up.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Could someone please put the link for this team-army back up so we can see what it looks like? I'm sure more people besides me are curious.

I agree, I don't think getting all those players was a good idea if he was leaving. There could have been some players some of us could have used. My thinking was that the top divisions should have their slots filled up first, then work your way down. More of a first come first served basis. I can understand the lower divisions having bots, but not the top divisions.

Well even if there would be a limit of 30 players per team (soft cap cause you have to "sign" your draftees) this could be possible as long as players you bidded on don't count (and they shouldn't). He bought bunches of players in the same day/3-day period which wouldn't count against the 30 player rule cap.

he must've been sitting on a ton of money to make purchases on that scale.

i grant your point, but someone earlier said the top three players had salaries totaling 200,000. That total is easily several millions. something else (this gets more interesting the more i think about it) -- this did not happen overnight -- i could place 350 1k bids, fine -- but several of those (one would think) would be upped; that is my experience. so he is having to commit -- over time -- large amounts of money to the enterprise. initially, i thought the dude felt "i lost the championship I'm going down in a blaze of glory", but he must have been planning / preparing for this for some time -- i would guess a week, minimum.

he might have just thought that this was the best way to inject his cash back into the broader BB economy, buy making a large number of small purchases.
