Yeah but supporters get 3/4 of the site in my opinion

Do you mean we get 3/4 of the functions on this site? That's no where near the case.

I use the long menu, and I can't see a single click on there that is a supporter function. Now, here is a list of my top 5 things about being a supporter:

1) no banner ads once you log in.
2) bookmarks
3) ability to search the forums (although I can still never seem to find what I am looking for)
4) team logo and banner
5) the out of town scoreboard (I can't remember, is that a supporter feature?)

Other than the buddy list, I was struggling even to get those down. Now, let's make a list of all the different functions in BB that are not supporter functions. I bet they would number well into the 100s.

Population of the site. Without anyone, the game probably wouldn't be played.

And for that you are rewarded with the game of BuzzerBeater.

Take a look at most of online games and tell what you see... I see a lots of in game advantage you could buy paying real money in most of the games.

Here you can`t even change your team or arena name for free if you support the game, you still have to pay in game money for that...

So finally supporter almost getting nothing from supporting the game, just some more fun that usually need more time to spend online because of one extra game that gives nothing more then fun and federations there you have to spend you time writing posts in forums.

Every game have to have some kind of supporter functions otherwise nobody will support it... It can`t survive by it self as BB has to pay taxes, buy equipment and finally those people who work on this game every day have to feed their families. So just try to create you game and you`ll see how much it costs or write a business plan, if you`ll make it right you`ll see all the costs without spending penny and you wont complain about supporters functions anymore.

You could say I`m GM and I do not pay for my supporter, but I`ve bought as prizes more supporters as you may ever buy. So I support this game as well.

The reason I paid for supporter was because I really like the game and would like to support it.

Sure the extra aesthetics (jersey numbers, banners, bookmarks, scoreboards) are nice, but it's not about that. I spend more time on Buzzerbeater than I do playing on my PS3 or PC, and I used to play a lot of online games where monthly subscriptions are paid.

All being said, I like the game, and to show my support for what they're doing, I buy a yearly supporter package and plan to renew when it expires. The value, challenges and enjoyment I get out of that $40USD a year certainly justifies it.

Oh, and where's my christmas present BB????
