Yes, everyone has his own opinion. But this one is my and quite strong. You can train for example passing without raise of wage instead of shotblocking, it brings you more for less wage and probably also player can be sold for more than the other one you prefer.

You are of course mostly right, but it depends on so much more, the whole picture of the player and the rest of your squad, long term planning etc...

I love Shot Blocking IRL and here.:) And it can't be told what is better, blocking a few shots more per match more or having a bit better passing/handling (I suppose you mean those, I wouldn't really train anything else for a Center).

In my eyes it can be told, but just my opinion. I accept someone has different one even if I disagree.

Why is it not realistic to have high JS and Atrocius FT?

I have watched many players miss FTs during matches because they get nervous at the FT line. This happens in other sports as well.

That's cool to suspend reality, you can play WOW or something in that case, this is a basketball game and i prefer it to remain one.

You can't name me an NBA guard in history that shoots high percent FG % but horrible FT %

True,

but we're not playing with just NBA material here. We've got bench warmers and even someone who has a potential of -1 (a BuzzerBeater Team member or sure).

So, I remain with my standpoint: It is realistic to have these kind of skewed skill levels. And it is up to the Manager to Train the correct skills to let players reacht their full potential. One of the more intruiging parts of this game and one that motivates me a great deal in trying to outsmart my fellow Managers.

I doubt any can name a guard in history who also didn't practice free throws at all. If you want your great FG% guard to also be a good FT shooter, he needs to practice shooting free throws.

and you name me one, who didn't train free throws in his career and made it into the NBA.(yes even Shaq trained it a lot, but he missed talent in this)

Of course they train free throws, but good shooters won't need much free throw training as bad shooters.
You think Ray Allen trains free throws a lot? No he's naturally a great shooter and doesn't need to practice free throws too often, as much as a bad shooter.
