While I agree that overnight changes favor some managers over others, early announcements in this case don't help very much. The reason being that at the moment this change would've been announced, everbody knew that the transferprices of those high end big man will rise heavily (just as it is now). So what happens is that the prices rise upon the announcements, so we're in the same situation.

I think I like the change, even though i don't profit at all and some rival teams do. In the long run it will help the game, being on the wrong end of the lucky spectrum sucks, but i don't think there is a much better way to handle these changes.

But I really hope they lowered the merchandising for those players, otherwise those players could become even cheaper salary wise than their inferior counterparts and i don't think that would be a good siuation.

The worst change BB-staff have ever made. Such important changes can't be done without announcement in advance. Now, I'm full of emotions, but I will have to think of leaving this game. Such an unexpectable immediate change of some part of the game are not acceptable. I would have had no problem, if they had annouced it in a season advance or at least half a season. But overnight some recent transfers change from silly to great and some others from great to silly :-(
And also they degrade the value of our NT strategy ...

I do agree with you. BB-staff you can't be serious about this...or?!

1. No official announcement in advance and I think such a substantial change deserved letting people know about it at least 1 season in advance. Even now there is nothing in the news...
2. It completely changed market value of those players and someone is unknowingly better off now, others are not.
3. It significantly helps (NT) teams that don't prefer multi-skilled players and discriminate the other ones.
4. It helped NT teams that'd caused (had let managers to cause it) this situation and you BB-staff retreated. This is very bad precedent for the game and it's a step back not forward. What if someone trains player above 500k salary again (if it's possible with that silly salary formula) what will you do then? Will you decrease those salaries once again if they start to cry on forums that it's impossible to "feed" those players?

How can people have long-term strategies and work systematically when they don't know what to expect every single season? April Fool's day was few days ago so please don't make fools of us again...

The scheduled maintenance is complete. The salary calculation appears to have a bug in it on the high-salary end, and we will update this message when that has been fixed. Offseason processing will likely be complete in another 12-18 hours, and the news post will go up when everything has been completed. As you might have noticed, we're going to be announcing a few changes this offseason.

It is not just about transfer price of these players (I would not have sold Fagot on Sunday). It is also about training strategies etc. Probably as NT manager if I knew about this change season ago I would have recommended for many managers different way of training and I would have trained my own players in different way.

To be precise it's just an announcement it's not in the news. But sorry anvway because it started writing my post few seconds before the announcement.

Thank God it's just a bug - I'd say the first one I'm thankful for:)

As there still not exactly known how PSFs would work I can't do it ;-)
In meantime of my frustration I thought about buying the game instead of leaving. Any idea about the price?
