I've read that although it says JS for wingmen trains IS, no has ever seen it happen.

I have seen it happen at least 3 times. I trained 1 on 1 F's for 4 weeks in a row. Then I trained JS wingman and hed the player who didn't pop in IS pop..2 seasons ago I had a SG I was cross training. I gave him IS and then I followed it with JS F and then when I trained JS windman he popped. As you can see it does train it but very slow. I always train JS wingman after a training set of IS, 1 on 1 F , and JS F. By itself it would take at least 7 or 8 trainings to get the sub-level in IS to pop.

I believe that it is useless to have DR higher than IS. I have a guard with atrocious DR and strong IS and he turns the ball over a lot less than another guard with proficient DR and inept IS.

i am training jump shot for wingmen this season, and i've done it before. All season long you should get about 2 pops in IS(3 if you're lucky).

Anyone else have a player with driving MUCH higher than driving? Would you be willing to analyze some play by plays and post here, similar to what I have done above?

Driving much better than driving? You mean driving better than IS, I guess... I have SG Paiva with DRI at 11 and IS at 1. I can't analyze play-by-plays because I'm not supporter. But check out this info...

30-4 look inside, Paiva's FG% 5-15 (24 mins)
3-5 look inside, 0-11 (37 mins)
5-5 push the ball, 0-1 (only 6 mins though)
7-5 look inside, 3-7 (14 mins)
10-5 push the ball, 2-17 (40 mins)
12-5 look inside, 4-5 (14 mins)
14-5 look inside, 2-6 (28 mins)
17-5 look inside, 2-5 (14 mins)
19-5 low post, 4-9 (26 mins)
21-5 run and gun, 10-18 (36 mins)

When he has to drive inside in inside oriented attacks, he sux. But when he needs to shoot from perimeter, he's ok.

It's driving. You really only need 2-4 IS for guards. It's a flaw in the game logic.

The greatest of all time.

Hmmm sounds like a little bit more inside shot, higher than atrocious, would help...any idea how long it would take to single-position-train a 6'0" player in inside shot to get 1 pop? (let's assume level 5 trainer...).

18 year old? play him out of position and you should get a pop every 2 weeks. 22-23 year old, maybe even 4-5 weeks(depends on other skills, cap level, potential, no one could actually give you an exact number).

True, although I'd rather offset that with higher DRV.

DRV contributes to higher offensive flow, right?

I think training Driviing on forward position will be enough to raise IS (especially if the figure there is more than 2).
I've got 2 18y.o. small player (less than 190 sm) with IS (7) and Driving (5) and (6) when they were born. Now, with relatively small amount of Driving training they have 8 in both skills. Other possible option - JS for wingers. It looks like it also trains IS, but in our case Driving training is more efficient.

Any idea which skills would correlate with inside shot in terms of elastic effect? Fill in the blank: High levels of ___________ will increase the speed of training inside shot.

I have absolutely no idea. It would be hard to tell. However, I think the skill that would correlate the most is Inside Defense(this should be pretty certain), after which Driving and Jump Shot should also correlate nicely. But again, this is not a fact, just a guess.

The question is:
Is inside scoring a big men skill, or an all-around skill for everyone? because if it is a skill for everyone(which it should be) then the three skills above should be a major factor in elastic effect.
