That is the reason I'm holding onto Michael Jackson. He's got 1 ID and 2 OD but damn it, I can't let the king of pop go.
he's only 18 & 6'10" with all-star potential. i say start training him.
& if you started training him, he could be the king of
pops. haha, get it? "Pops" as in
skill pops. Because you'd be training him. That means his skills would be increasing. & skill increases are sometimes referred to as "pops" on this game.
You could then boast about the rate of those skill increases, proclaiming him a king even. A king of pops! People might find it humorous that a fictional Michael Jackson would then have a similar nickname to the deceased, more famous Michael Jackson. Sure, it's not guaranteed that they would find it humorous, but there's at least a possibility.
If people don't find it humorous, there's a chance it's because they aren't familiar with BuzzerBeater jargon. You can first direct them to the game manual and have them read up on this game. Afterward you can reshow him or her your player page, & call the fictional Michael Jackson a "king of pops" again while they are looking on. You can also show them your training page, to show just how frequently your player popped in skills.
Playing a Michael Jackson tune in the background will add to the casual humor of this endeavor.
I'm almost as funny as Dave Coulier. Almost.
(I have a degree in comedy from BuzzerBeater University.)
