Difference between a level 4 and 5 is 2 or maybe 3 pops in 1 seasons so thats not really a big difference.

it is if you only pop twice in a season. BTW, I only count primary pops. How many of those 12 came on the actual skills you were training?

They were all primary pops in this case.
Because he was a C I did only train IS,ID and rebound training.
But his last training just before I sold him ,I wanted him to train on passing so he played for 48 minutes on the PG position.
Why do you only count primary pops ,for a C its also important to train outside skills, because you dont want a C just only take rebounds ,ID ,SB and IS?"
I think its good when your trainee gets some training not just on his primary skills,if you do that ,its much more difficult to defend this player.
If you train guards ,its never a bad thing if you train his IS,if you play Look Inside your guard if he has good driving skills he will try to go inside and look for a inside shot.

If you are serious about training then coach level 5 is minimum, else it's a waste of time.

I trained one player for 25 weeks with level 4 trainer. That player popped 24 times. It's not such a waste.

Two Position Training
Description: Will train a maximum of six players at roughly 75-80% (estimate) of one position training.

Yeah, that's why I was surprised. I suspect that those estimates are way off!

The guide is only a couple of users opinion. Its not official but people often treat it as gospel. The guide is also quite old now and some things have changed.

I'm in D.IV not D.V. Stop crying on the forums baby and just figure out how to train players right.

Do the coach levels have sublevels? I had a level 4 coach last season. During 12 skill 2-pos training weeks my 18 and 19 yo trainees got just two pops in the skills they were trained. I know it's 2-pos, but 2 pops in 12 weeks, c'mon!!

I did quite a bit of two position pressure training with guards and I can't imagine only getting two pops in twelve weeks. The only things I can think of are:
- faulty recordkeeping
- completely capped players
- training 7'5 players in three position pressure

When you said later in the thread you were only counting primary pops, do you mean only the primary skill for the training? I.e., if you train outside shot one week and got a JS pop, trained jump shot the next week and got a JR pop, would that count as two pops or zero?

Yep, a zero. I did get some secondary DR and HA pops, but I did not count them. Also, the difference is that none of OD, PA or IS contribute secondaries to the other two's primaries. As in the example with C getting 12 pops on the inbred IS, ID and RB.
Record keeping was done by buzzer-manager.
Anyway I just got a level 6 trainer, to see what those 5% can do :)
