If you train him only in primary skills yeah, you can easily cap a MVP potential player at age 25.

Also 23 easily...when U21 games end, I see a lot of centers on TL that have 3x16 in inside skills or even more, so if he's MVP, he can be capped before his 23 years if trained in primary skills only.

In any case, it's a waste cap a player training only primarys.

I agree. The only time when it's not a waste is if someone is trying to build a beastly U21 player, who will probably go into retirement in a few years (one of best examples: (21249799)). Owner probably doesn't care much since he is investing no more than three seasons in the player, and U21 is thrilled to have such a monster (another recent example: (26327171))

If you do only primaries you can do it before that...

And to whoever made that comment about England... >< I'm slightly offended.

Best players cap at age 28-29 (training all his BB life) and there a few that will never cap.

It's depend of player's initial skillset and desired position plus trainer lvl.

yes, well built high potential players could take advantage of a l6 or better trainer. There's a high cost, both financially and competitively, to doing so.

And also makes the difference between Good players and Elite Players.
But a lvl6+ trainer alone it's just not enough.
