I think the first season only random, then the IA will calculate your ranking and will give you a similar team, imho

@Cool, because you've already the $ coming from the arena for 1 to 5 matches, it's enough ;)

i would like to ask

why arent playoff or even championship games consider to have tv matches

just wanna know

im kinda broke


They do, but the TV money goes to the league (meaning it's never paid out, but the fan bonuses, etc, remain the same)

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

Fan bonuses are not the same... a lot of people (inc. me) have built large stadiums based on anticipated supporter growth via expected success which is now nowhere near the previous season. Had we known that this was going to be significantly different then there wouldve been no way I wouldve ramped up to the level im at straight away (leaving me more money to improve my roster)

No problem for people playing since season 2 as the correction for them still gives sufficient fans to fill the stadiums... now we have to inch up the ladder and our only chance of filling the arena is a huge winning streak....

Its like playing snakes and ladders with very small ladders and a very large snake every time you lose 1 game.

I'm not referring to the Season Ticket Holders.

I'm talking about the basic boost to attendance you get from doing well in a TV game.

but the STH is the base figure that your attendence is calculated from no?

if i have 3466 now and ive won my opening 2 league games i might now have lets say 3486 (10 extra supporters per game) now if I win on Sat and Tues (tv game) maybe I will be up to 3516 (10 for 1st game 20 for TV game) but the attendence for the game after will be boosted because of the new hidden STH that is accumalating in the background..

or have i totally misunderstood how this works?

not visibly but isnt it calculated after each game and then at the end of the season the new figure replaces the old one?

the way i understand this,

your sth are usual high price ticket holders, wherein whatever happens doesnt affect your attendance big compare to the bleachers if you lose.

you cant expect much on bleacher attendance but they determine the bulk of your fans watching.
