Control freaks are upset :o

There is a few % training they can't plan on their excel spreadsheet smarter than everybody 10-season long-term management plan to beat'em all v2... Unpredictable unpredictability is unrealistic !

The game is ruined :(

sarcasm ;)

Personally it seems that the BBs are the control freaks here. We don't train the way that they want, so they have to introduce "random" training.

I fail at math, so if it takes 10% longer, per season of training for primaries, how much time does a person have to add onto their predicted training time if they want to push a skill level to 17-20pts?

How about 10% more time? :)

I'd say slightly more than that because the effects of age: the 10% training that's lost on the player while he's 18 will be trained while he's 19, at a slightly lower rate, so the net loss will be more than 10%.

slightly less, because the skill also could get trained 10 % when you train other skills, when we talk about a player you actualy want to have.

the Key fctor for it, would be the difference in the elastic effect, which get another contribution.

Do you know how elastic effect works?
If the gap among the higher and lower skill become smaller(and it will go this way because the primary skill will be reduced and secondary will increase),the elastic effect will be redcued,so the slowdown of the training is amplified.

Why would a pop from prolific to sensational passing rule him out for the NT anyway?

because he would reach his cap and couldn't train anymore in other things. Well, I know he can train after he's capped, but anyway.

This is called game rules. Every game has rules. Rules change in sports IRL too. Constantly. Drastically sometimes.
BBs are the game masters not control freaks.

Now if you were saying that the BBs are distasteful emotions controller then I absolutely agree with you. BBs are puppeteers. A piece of unintelligible rubbish in the front page instantly sends thousands in panic mode ! That's too much power in feeble hands if you ask me. And they do this for the laugh I have heard...

do you really know it? There are at least serious rumours that some connection are one sided, and other serious rumorurs that the loss is higher then the gain. I would be pretty sure that it isn't ampliefied, i am not sure if balaced training is the fastet(the rules did imply something in that direction), or that raising certain skills are better(driving handling comes into my mind there).

Koperboy, so 0,1-0,2 Skilsl amkes the difference for you? You had lower uncertainity with predicting the cap before, that such a low over training kills all your plans?

And at least you know for sure, what the NT wants in 5 seasons? Because for me i wouldn't take a guard with passing below 13.

I hope the next step is to have random off-court incidents that affect the players, too. Some examples:

A player shows up late to a game with suddenly poor game shape due some afternoon drinking.
Teammates get into a fight at halftime, one gets punched in the eye resulting in a JS decrease by 75% for 36 hours, the other is injured for 1 week.
A player has a really good lunch, increasing his game shape by 10% for his next game.
A player with insomnia spent a night watching Chris Mullen career highlights, increasing his ball handling skill by 15%. He’s got skills.
A rookie has a late growth spurt, increasing his height by a couple of inches.
A domestic issue results in a player missing a game because of a court appearance.
A player misses a season while serving a prison sentence for running an illegal dog fighting ring, and then is suspended the following season after violating player conduct rules related to the dog fighting.
A team’s cheerleaders are feeling extra spirited, which boosts the team’s Enthusiasm by 20%.
A team’s cheerleaders are protesting the objectification of women by refusing to shave, reducing the team’s Enthusiasm by 50%.
While helping an elderly lady cross a busy street, the old lady gives the player some really good advice about rebounding, which is equivalent to a week’s training in rebounding.
A player becomes a member some religious or philosophical order that shuns the physical world, and the player will continue to play but for only the smallest salary possible.
A player covertly takes performance enhancing drugs, causing all sorts of skill and game shape boosts, until he gets caught and a suspension follows.
A stomach virus hits a team and players all take major game shape hits as the bug gets passed around the locker room. Opposing teams, including from scrimmages, are also at risk of infection.
A player loses 20% of his ball handling skill after a freak accident happened while he was getting a tattoo on his arm.
A tornado destroys a team’s practice facility, canceling all training for the week.
After getting bit by a radioactive kangaroo, a player’s shot blocking and rebounding skills are increased by 800%.

Have you had a sneak preview of season 18's changes?

You wouldn't take a Shooting guard for Look inside with PA 11, DR 20, HA 18 and IS 10? We have few good players for outside tactic, but none for inside.
