your last sentence makes absolute sense, and provided there are enough trainers out there to give some inside players at allstar, PA, and SS solid inside training for a few seasons, the U21 performance wont suffer either.

I'm beginning to think we should target peren allstar and superstar potential players at the U21s and train up MVP+ potentials with salary-efficiency and optimal performance at 26 as their main goal.

we agree on something. this is what i am trying to say all along, but maybe in my english it doesnt get across very well. you worded perfectly what i wanted to say.

this is my draftee for this season. ideally he gets more outside training. but even if he doesnt get that, and he is trained to inside skill levels like austin, he will be a much better player... (unless you value SB alot).

It is fine by me as well, though of course I will still accept these higher potential players if they have the skills required;)

Would everyone be interested in starting that with this season 18 year olds, or do you think that it'd still be doable for the 19 year olds as well?

some more players on TL with potential.

First guy I am not sure, great starting skills and potential, but very weak secondaries. I prefer better secondaries, but he could be turned into a nice guard anyway.

This guy is 19 and is lacking some training. But he could be turned in an awesome player. with 1vs1 for forwards, he could get atleast 2 perhaps 3 pops IS, and that would make him a very nice guard... For U21 probably not good enough. This is almost the perfect player to be trained for the NT...

Haven't you sold him yet? He's the best PF trainee I've ever seen!!!

;-)

He is pretty good actually. Given what I got for Adams in S16, you should get well over a mil.

this player is a real shame.

at first sight he looks great, but atrocious OD and atrocious PS is the killing blow for this player... For the U21 he could be a monster, but unless he is trained into a 300k big, i would never play him for the NT.

I think 1.25mi is a decent enough deal for both buyer and seller. I wouldn't sell him for 1.1 mil but I would for 1.4mil.
