I believe salaries will continue to drop.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

and what do you think of my arguments? I hope for drop, but I'm little bit worry. In 2 season I think it will drop for sure, but this one I'm not sure.

I know it very well, but I calculate it on our Div I. And I think saved money from salaries will be higher than lost of TV contracts. In our div I TV contracts:
last season: $ 190 250
this season: $ 186 632
Let say without new rule it would have been 210k (but I think it's very optimistic)
For whole league it would mean lost 5.4M for the entire season (only 3.1M for 200k estimation).
If I calculate saved money from salaries (according to currect wage bill and rank of each team), team in our league will save from 7.1M to 8.8M (depending whether there is or not TB in relegation series).
So profit is still at least around 2M and probably even more.

And I think our league doesn't have extraordinary high wage bills. And I'm also not sure about similar calculation in lower leagues. So I'm not sure about profit/loss comparing wage savings and TV contract lost worldwide.
We will see what happen, but some BB estimation of rise/drop of wage as it was few times in past at time of allstar break would be grateful.

Sorry to be off topic.

But I'm of the opinion the rule should be tweaked too.

1) posting players from retired teams
2) posting in your own national forums regarding NT prospects

I get that strict adherence to the no advertising rule prevent spam on player ads in the forums, but perhaps these two areas are a little greyer.

I think the first idea would not help anyone, because why you should advertise a bot player? The only reason i Could see would be to save NT prospect in little nations, but the U21 and Nt coaches can yet do it using moral suasion and/or saving directly the most promising players
On the second idea,I think that it should be only the Nt/U21 coaches to decide who are Nt prospect to advertise

no i just give you examples, where it might be useful to give examples of player on the TL - and for retired ones there isn't the sitution that anyone profit from this ad.(when you say just don't post other player there might eb friendship advertising)

Sorry,I read uncorrectly your thought ;D

I think that sometimes the rule should be applied with more flexibility from GMs/Mods,because there are clearly cases where posting a player is not a way to advertise them. But it's more a rule application issue rule, then a problem in the rule.

Now the teams that finish 5, have advantatge over those who finish 4 or 3(normally the team with HCA wins) and i've seen some managers giving up some games to finish 5(which is not good for the competition).

I would like to see all those managers claiming that finishing 5 was a disaster( f.e. forum sugestions), explaining now why finishing 5th it's better than finishing 4 or 3rd. Did anyone think about the consequences of this change before introducing it?

When it's about economy, this game normally fails.

PD: Forgot to say that i also saw some teams that finished in 5th position, signing players with high salarys(centers) just to make day-trading and benefit from this change...
