If you get a an 18 year old MVP Center who is 6'0" with atrocious JS and OD would you really try to train him as a guard?

With atrocious not, but with inept-mediocre it should be quite good choice, not all Centers has atroucious outside skills.

A lot more factors are at play. If you had your sight on training big men and you have big men existing trainees, it is certainly not worth switching your whole training regime to train guards just because you drafted a 6'0 C even if he has inept/mdeiocre JS to begin with.

Surely, but you can draft 7'2" PG/SG/SF with good inside skills and train him at inside skills and make him great PF. Best PF in our NT was drafted as PG long time ago.

I'm confused, I'm not sure if people are trying to refute the idea that providing general height categories aren't needed because a 7'2 guard is useful, or are just stating it.

I think we've come to a consensus that drafting a tall guard can be useful given the right circumstances, but the rationale for wanting height included in the drafts is because drafting a tall guard when you're training guards is not as useful, and training a short center when you're training bigs isn't very useful either (unless you plan on selling them). As stated earlier, if you want players to keep and train their draftees, providing height is probably more useful than suggested positions.

I honestly think we should be given A LOT more scouting options for the draft and such. As a proud supporter of the drafts in professional sports, the Washington Wizards aren't going to select a player that they only know the position/potential/and whatever else the game has. They know EVERYTHING about John Wall. They probably have a scout watching what hes eating for desert right now. Im not meaning for BB to give all those options but we should be able to see some skills that they have. We know John Wall has insane athleticism, so why wouldn't we be able to see it in BB. I feel as if we know nothing about these players when I spend 100k+ each season.

Basically I just ask that the draft be revamped and more in depth. The draft is always one of the most interesting events every season.

Creating separate lists for each team is a bad idea. Remember this, you are competing with your league. Now if you create a separate list for each team random comes into play. What if the last team get's a lousy list and the top team get's a great list. Basically the ranking system does not make a difference any more, as it does not matter who you pick (for other teams), every team picks from a different list of players.
