S15 - SGP Tournament Round 5 Update : Hurtado, Defending Champion Whampoa Allstar rally to beat Shohoku Backers 93-92.

Veteran David Hurtado & Arthur Hottinger each booked 31pts & 29pts to bring SGP Tournament Defending Champions beat SBBL Defending Champions SHohoku Backers by 1 point deficit 93-92. Trailed as much as 14 in 2nd half, Whampoa, lead by Hottinger, started to plant 3point bombs which outscore Shohoku in 3rd quarter 25-17. Point leads keep changing in 4th quarter, before Hurtado hit a big 3 pointer with 20 seconds left. Shohoku rally falls short when Sertug Acay missed a hook shot just from inside key area. Shohoku Backers was led by Cataldo Momente with 27pts and 14rebs, Sertug Acay with 20pts & 11rebs.

Another match on Xavis Arena, Ooi Tse Cheng's 32pts broke the exhausted Xavis team's hope to compete, and surrendered to Lycans BB with 75-94. Fang Shuang Xiang has 23pts and 9rebs.

Sessioes Doers has no problem to shut down Singapore SLINGZ, beat them down with 90-68. SD ironman, František Šarvan, led the team with 20pts & 11rebs, Mah Shung Kwang, Ricardo Paz, and Eike Balkhausen each has 18pts.

S15 - SGP Tournament Quarter Final Update : Lycans BB edged Hobos&Basketball 88-86, Sessioes Doers survived OT frenzy from wow wee star 101-97.

For the first time in many season, all Quarterfinal match were tight and no teams have a blowout win.

Depleted Lycans BB team, without veteran Tan Yau Chang & Michiaki Tayama, survived a heart attack when Mohd Nizam bin Kassim bricked 2 FTs, H&B rebounded the ball, but Moritz Muschketat missed long jumper and Radomir Oniszko was unable to convert the offensive rebound, and Lycans BB held 2 points win over H&B 88-86. Juan Jose Castell lead the team with 22pts 7ast 10reb, followed by newly acquired Italiano, Enzo Paolo Gilloti, with 22pts & 6rebs, including one crucial shot to regain 2pts lead when H&B tied the game at 86-86.

Two running gunning team, Crystal Chambers Cavaliers outlast Phantomech with 123-113, led by CCC NT Superstar, Yip Kum Jian with 33pts, Tian Yu Guang with 27pts 6ast & 8rebs. Lin Hongsohttp://www.buzzerbeater.com/images/conf/new/bold.gifng scored 22pts & Lorenzo Carazza has 10pts & 13ast. Eestonian Meelis Kuusk lead Phantomech with fabulous 46 points.

Defending Champion, Whampoa All-Star, defeated black horse Bobbleheads 136-126, behind nice outing by NT Star Ng Chao Huat with 25pts & 13asts. Arthur Hottinger added 24pts. Other 5 players also registered each at least 10 pts. Bobblehead's Bill Swain's 51pts still proven not enough to threat the Defending Champions.

Sessioes Doers, registers their first appearance in SGP Tournament Semifinals by eliminated wow wee star with 101-97. But Lim Wee Min and the group was working OT to gain the important win. Wee Min, an ex U21 star, led his team with . Eike Balkhausen added 22pts &12rebs. Mah Shung Kwang & Frantik Sarvans has 19 & 14 pts respectively.

Haha.. Ya, gd to hav plan b. But currently can't hav plan b with limited player n finance. Almost gav up this season, When 1 of my main player gt hurt in the match jus ended earlier on. Haha

S15 - SGP Tournament Semi Final Update : Whampoa Allstars outlasts Lycans BB, Sessioes Doers fly high past Crystal Chambers Cavaliers.

Most favourite team, Lycans BB, probably still haven't found their luck to dethrone the defending Champions. Much worse when they saw Ooi Tse Cheng sidelined on 3rd quarter, and playmaker Michiyaki Tayama limped out as well on 4th quarter, leaving the second year freshman Chan Long Shi running the point.

Whampoa lead at the most of the game before Lycans quickly tied the game at 90-90 with 7minutes left in 4th. A 12-2 run capped by Victor Nolledo's pair of 3s put away Whampoa 102-92, never threathened, and closed the game with 112-102.

Still with the same casts running the show for Whampoa, Arthur Hottinger buried 30pts despite Lycans 3/2 defense, and six other player has double digit as well, but the most deadly was Falko Rogali 3point dagger near end of the game that put the exclamation point for Whampoa.

Lycans' Fang Shuang Xiang wasn't helping much as well. He was limited to 14 shot only, scored 20pts and committed 4 turnovers (2 on last 2 minutes). Juan Jose Castell led the team with 28 points.

Whampoa Allstars will face up with Sessioes Doers, who easily dispatch Crystal Chambers Cavaliers out of the court with 112-72. This will be the first appearance for team Sessioes Doers.

Final game will be at Thursday 3 March 2011 7pm.
