well for me, my experience is the same as someone who mentioned it before. basically the 'pick from depth chart
is extremely mechanical. theres a particular set amount of time which each person from starter, sub, reserve play from. but coach decide will be the team which the coach believes will be the strongest, depending on offensive/defensive. since my team isn't that great or specialized on both its just the guys with the highest overall stats in that position.....so yeah.

guess we're still waiting for the substitution tactics eh :D

Needless to say, if you have Lebron as a bench player with "Let coach decide", the coach will still give him huge minutes and might even start him because at the end of the day, the Coach wants to try win the game.

This is not true at all, and part of my point.
Perhaps if you play this game for a bit longer, you will figure that out.

This IS true! I witnessed it many times and I'm in the game from season 10. "Perhaps if you play this game for a bit longer, you will figure that out."

I have the same problem...the starter plays too much...

And i want to ask...Let coach decide...Will the coach pick somebody to sub in? E.G: I want my P.G play whole games, but i win my oppenent by 20---40pts..At last quarter, will back-up SG sub for my PG few mins?

normally not if you have "less enough" players, blowout behaviour is always the same in my eyes.

But it is more likely that he get some bench minutes during the "normal" game, even when it should work in most cases.

That will always happen no matter what coach setting you play because it is a blowout.

If you are expecting a blowout and you want your starter to play the whole game then DON'T put a backup and reserve player in for that position and have your starter be the backup and reserve as well. Also you need to ensure that there are less than 10 players so your player doesn't get subbed out in the event of the blowout

Monkey is basically right. He has been playing since season 9, two longer than you? He is in the top league, you are... division IV.

A) This is not my first try at BB. My first seasons were 3 thru six or so, when I lost interest and forgot to keep playing. So by your 'years played logic' I know more than Monkey. Or you, for that matter.

B) Monkey plays in a cupcake league, like you do. I wish I could play in a clueless nation, but the BBs won't allow it.

Do you know how much the game has changed since season 6? You now have 10 seasons of enhancements the BB have put into this game and a new GE on top of that as well.. And by that right, plenty of people have played this game for seasons and are still clueless.

Australia is a cupcake league eh?? We have 4 divisions and 635 active teams and the competition from D3 upwards is bluddy tough with managers that are active daily. I will conceded US is tougher due to more active managers but our D3 in toughness/manager activeness is probably equivalent to your D4 in toughness/activeness. Just because US has more teams doesn't make every other league in the world a cupcake league and I will assure you plenty of other nations with less managers than Australia will attest to that.

The OP's questions have been answered.

The last relevant post was made 15 days ago.

I don't know why someone would bring a dead topic back from the grave just to have a go at someone. Just close the thread :)
